Video: Christina Perri Sings 1,000 Years to the Breaking Dawn Fan Camp

I’m not a crier and I got totally misty hearing 2,000 TwiHards singing the chorus with Cristina.

  1. That’s awesome. What a wonderful experience to have your song sung back to you by a international group of Twilight fans. There’s something extremely special about a huge crowd being brought together by a common love.

Interestingly, my 12 yr old daughter’s choir sang this song for their school’s Remembrance Day assembly. The children sang while a backdrop of military photos, videos of soldier’s coming home, people standing saluting etc were scrolling on the back screen. It was very effective, because essentially the song is about forever, about loving someone so much you’d die for them, about waiting for them, etc. and the themes transfer very well to other areas of love and sacrifice. There wasn’t a dry eye in the building.

  2. Ahg! Crying.

  3. Wow, those fans have good voices. Haha. Good job everyone. :)

  4. My feelings! I CANNOT.

  5. Beautiful song all the more special and tear worthy with the fans singing along.

  6. Amazing!!! Brought me to tears and so proud to be a TWIHARD!!!

Crying. I love that song so much! And such a wonderful story behind it.

  8. Even though I know the story of how/when she wrote the song, I love that she re-told it. Such a special song, written especially for Edward & Bella; what an awesome talent Cristina is:)

I can’t wait to see Breaking Dawn 2!
