I just discovered this site!…and love it! So excited for the chance to win a signed copy of one of my favorite books!
I loved reading about your first correspondence with Stephanie. What a great surprise that must have been for you.
Also, I just love when a great idea is born and the power of internet is able to give that dream wings.
My favorite thing about Twilight Lexicon is when I won a copy of the Abduction DVD from you!! I was so excited to win a contest!!! Twilight Lexicon is on my yahoo front page for easy access too!! I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!
I live all The personal correspondence with Stepenie Myere!
and when you changed the ‘Twilight Lexicon’ into the ‘Beiber Lexicon’ haha so funny xD xoxo
My favorite part is how at the beginning Stephenie would promote the site and you would exchange emails. I had no idea about that and I think it is SO cool! You were practically like an assistant to Stephenie. I admire you so much being able to work with one of my hero’s!
I loved learning about The Lion and The Lamb fanfic! And reading it was even better
Loved that it captured Edward’s brooding side before Stephenie had released her own version.
My favorite memory was the coverage of the cast when the movie was first coming out. It was so exciting to see new stuff my favorite book to come alive!
I remember when I’ve started to read the Twilight books e loved them. Then I’ve started to look for more information in the internet and found the Twilight Lexicon, what a great site. I was very impressed with the amount of unique information and the love that Stephenie has for you. You were the first to put together information from books, doing biographies and descriptions. Great job.
Love from Brazil!
I have fallowed the lexicon for a few years now. I love that they love and care about what I do. My favorite thing was getting to meet them @ the San francisco twicon 11. WHO needs fox news or CNN. I have twilight lexicon to keep me up todate on anything I want or need to know
DENA
I really want to win the book for my girlfriend! She is such a hard core Stephenie Meyer and Twilight fan. This would be the BEST present ever for her and it would be my favorite memory. I don’t come on here very often since I am not the die hard fan but if I had to choose a favorite something, it would be learning bits of info on the characters to impress her with.
I love that Stephenie Meyer commented on your fan fiction! I had no idea she did that. I came to the fandom late and I forget sometimes that it started out small. Thanks for the contest. Love you guys and love Twilight!
I loved having the character bios when I first started reading the books, when it got kind of confusing you know. For me, it was the first Twilight saga guide…years before Stephenie Meyer started writting hers.
The Twilight Lexicon has been the best source for Twilight related news and one of the oldest having direct contact with Stephenie.
Love you lots as well as this wonderful community <3
PS: would love to win one of these contests
I loved, love, love, that the Lex has direct contact with Steph, so we were learning first hand everything!
My favorite memory of the Lexicon was the day I discovered the website! There was so much information available all at once – awesome. I was alone in my appreciation of Twilight (amongst my social circle) so having the website to check definitely connected me to other fans around the world. (Though I have to say the April Fools stuff has been fun, too!)
I love all of the interviews on Twilight Lexicon. It’s been my “go to” spot for all the latest news that is anything Twilight. I’ve checked out a lot of other fan websites, but this one is – by far – the very best!!
I love how you were in contact with Stephenie Meyer when you were creating the website , I just think that is super cool . What i love about this website is how you have all of the new news up and going first. I loved meeting you guys at the Twilight Convention and hearing all about the hard work that goes into making this fantastic and amazing website !! XD
My favourite memory of the Lexicon, was the April Fool’s joke you posted last year, when the Twilight Lexicon became the Bieber Lexicon (much to my horror!). I visited the Lexicon that morning and when I saw Justin Bieber’s face where Edward’s is supposed to be, and all the articles about Justin Bieber, I almost had a heart attack! I thought that everyone at the Lexicon had gone crazy, or that the site had been hacked into by a group of pranksters!!
I also love coming onto the Lexicon and knowing that every new scrap of information that I might want about the Saga, will be here, waiting to be read!
I had no idea about “Lion and the Lamb”! I’m going to have to check that out! And the fact that Stephenie Meyer commented on your story is awesome! I loved reading the correspondence between you! Thanks so much for sharing!
my favorite thing about Twilight Lexicon is a memory of finding the extra info from Stephenie – when i first read all the books (late summer 2008), before I even knew about the movie, i found the personal correspondences and I just about died. I loved finding out more – it was almost like another book had been published and was waiting – to hear about all the back stories was amazing. I think held on to Esme and Carlisle story of how they first met and fell in love more than anything.
I’ve appreciated always getting my Twi-fix anytime I need it right here. Pictures, info, updates- it makes me smile to see those familiar characters we all love.
My favorite memory was when first found this website while googling twilight. It was right after Eclipse was released back in 2007. I was so happy to find a website that had so much information, and even correspondence letters with Stephenie. Those are some good memories.
I’ve been coming back daily ever since.
My favorite memory is meeting some you in Forks, WA at the “Summer School in Forks – A Twilight Symposium” in Jun 2009. After talking with you about websites, along with Kalib, I started working on mine and eventually got it uploaded.
My favorite memory was joining your site, and realizing I was not the only grown woman obsessed with Twilight!
My favorite memory from the Lex is the day I first stumbled upon your website after reading the books, and saying to myself “finally, someone else as crazy about this series as I am”
I love listening to you guys at the Twilight Convention in 2010 in Phoenix and seeing your Forks footage
My personal favorite memory about the Lexicon is the day I discovered it. I’d just finished Twilight for the first time, I’d read every word on Stephenie Meyer’s website, and then I found you guys and it was like finding a whole new treasure trove full of information and obsessed fans just like me!
i loved the interviews with stephenie, i learned so much i didnt know, looking forward to more to come i love stephenies writting….
My favourite memory of the Lex is how I found the site after reading Twilight and becoming obsessed with it. I was really grateful for the loads of information because I couldn’t stop thinking about the book and just wanted more and more.
My fave part was the interviews with Stephenie Meyer
The best thing about Twilight Lexicon is that its one place where the fans get all answers regarding Twilight…I luv the fab collection of the pics and interviews of the cast and i lov the interview with Stephanie.
There are two things I learned from the Fandom Flashback post 1) was all the other things you are fans of and 2) the actual start of relationship with Ms Meyer. I had not seen that first email exchange before. Thanks for all your work. Happy Birthday.
A thing I learned was how Lori had written fan fiction, I had no idea you werea writer I hope you write something in the future that we can all read.
The best thing about the Lexicon is that you can 100% trust what you find here, and you never find anything unfair, negative, predatory,or paparazzi-derived. It’s just pure fandom goodness, and I love you for it!
Your site has become a close friend to me in the last three years. A few past posts that come to mind are reading about Midnight Sun updates and seeing that photo of Bella’s hand in feathers! What drew me to your site was Stephenie Meyer’s comment on your header – if she approved it, I knew I could trust you
I really enjoyed the updates as each book moved from written form to video format for the movies. Twilight Lexicon kept us all informed about changes from the books to the movie scripts. As a middle school teacher I have enjoyed discussing with my students the changes from the original written format to the movies.
My favorite thing I learnt from reading about the Lexicon’s history was that Stephenie actually “reviewed” (commented on) a piece of fanfiction. I know she had read some of them in the early days, and I know you guys have had a lot of personal communication with her, but I didn’t realise that’s how it came about!
<3
My Favourite thing about the Lexicon website- was the fact that when the filming of Twilight began you were there, showing us what you could about the project that got me personally super excited about seeing it on the big screen! I liked the fact that the website was the first place you could go to get news on anything and everything ‘Twilight’, all in one place.. a community a shared love of the novels! That’s why I’m on here everyday!
One of my favorite things about Lexicon is the coverage on Ashley Green! I love finding out about what the cast is doing outside of Twilight.
What I learned about the Lexicon while reading the flashback was how everything that is the Lexicon came to be! I especially enjoy the fact that, yes, you are dedicated to Twilight, but have passionate interests about other fandoms as well
My favorite thing about the Lexicon is being able to know everything I want about the series, having access to new videos when they come out and things like that, and also being informed of the actors’ other projects, which I may not know otherwise.
I love the whole site. I found it when I first starting reading twilight. Now mind you this was about when eclipse came out so there was all kinds of information out there. I enjoyed your site with all the little tid bits of infromation on the charactors and the backround of each. I am still a big fan of the series my husband thinks i’m nuts but thats ok. Anyway, just wanted to say I love the site and Happy Birthday on your wonderful site.
I’ve followed you guys for a very long time and know that the information you post it “REAL”. You are the most dedicated and honest group. I love you girl and keep up the GREAT work; I know it’s not easy!
I love all the coverage but I really like that you guys make sure that you have information about the smaller roles of Twilight. We all love to learn about Edward, Bella, and Jacob, but Boo Boo Stewart rocks!
My favorite thing about Lexicon is that we are kept updated on things that have to do with the movies or the characters that otherwise we could have never known, also the extra videos and interviews!
Favorite memories have to be the podcasts haha … And reading the fandom flashbacks I’ve learned that this fandom hasn’t waivered and I feel like we were something special and that the Lexicon helped bring that to us and fans who continue to come to the fandom !
And I also loved the set visits !
Happy Birthday Twilight Lexicon!! Thank you for being the best at what you do! You are where I go to find out what is going on in the Twilight universe. My favorite memory is meeting you at the Breaking Dawn Convention in Los Angeles last year. It was amazing to meet the incredible women who dedicate so much of their time to something that I love.
The first time I read through all the personal correspondence w/ Stephenie was while I nursed my little girl– you can still read the computer screen in the dark room in the middle of the night! That’s my favorite memory of the Lex.
My sis-in-law led me to your site several years ago. At first, I thought it was just for teen Twi-Hards and didn’t join up. But then I read of the postings and realized I was just being stereotypical..I’ve enjoyed reading about the back stories of the other actors besides the main ones. The posts from other followers have been full of information and little tidbits that have kept up my faith with this series. I’ve had several friends and other family become members as well after I’ve shown them your site. It’s been such a fun way to keep up-to-date with what’s going on and see all the fun Twilighters still have following the series!
My favourite thing about the Lex is you always have the right information, no rumors, and you always have it before anyone else. I’ve gone to other Twilight sites but never sticked to them, I have been visiting the Lex for 2 years now
and I will continue to follow it as long as it runs. I also love how it’s just not about Twilight. I love coming here for Stephenie’s other projects too. and I love how you care about your viewers, thank you!
