Ahh Xavier, oh how I love him so! xD Riley had never really been on my radar in the books until I saw him played by the wonderful Xavier Samuel on screen. He was phenomenal and basically stole the entire movie with his performance. I was blown away!! =D
I have to agree with you on that one,because his character in the book is just to be a pawn of Victoria. In the movie you get to feel some compassion for him,because he’s given a new life that he didn’t ask for and ultimately pays the price for following Victoria. It was great to see the film with such a strong opening,that set up the overall dark tone. Job well done,Mr. Slade!
