According to Digital Spy and the UK version of MTV:
“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will get advance showings in the UK.
The third movie in the vampire romance franchise is to screen on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4 before it rolls out in cinemas across the country on July 9. The movie opens in the US on June 30.
UK Twilight fans will be able to make advance bookings for Eclipse from May 21.”
this is great but why isnt there a world wide release date for Eclipse ?!
i wanna see on the same day as the US. didnt New Moon have a world wide release date ?
hurrah!!!!!!!!!! summit have clearly woken up to our complaints although we’re still having to wait 3/4 more days after the majority of people in other countries have seen it. and guessing it’s going to be a fight to the death for tickets etc ***** gets elbows ready! xD****

Cannot understand why tiny little countries in Eastern Europe have an earlier release date than the UK. They get the same date as the US. I don’t begrudge them their date but can’t under why ours is different?
I don’t really mind… My birthday’s on the 11th, si I’m planning on seeing it on the release date, the day of my birthday and possibly again for a party =)

Basically Eclipse will be showing in select cinemas on the 3rd and 4th July in a limited number of showings, and then I’m guessing the showings will start again from the 9th
Will need to book though, be ready on friday to reserve your tickets!

The site that you book them on is the cineworld web-site but it doesn’t say what cinemas it will be showing in. Im praying its odeon though cause I don’t have a cineworld one near me, I’d have to go to Scotland.
