Reelz Channel is chiming in with their thoughts on the final trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclispe. They take it scene by scene and very nearly frame by frame. The commentary is rather quirky and somewhat snarky with lots of little bits that made me laugh such as: “From the worldwide bestseller” appears on screen, y’know, just in case you didn’t know the movie was based on a book.

omg i soooo can’t wait for this movie anymore. i have been counting down for the past 50 weeks, so i guess i CAN wait but you know what i mean…. UGH! I can’t take this! NEEEEED to see it NOW!

OMG, the commentary was priceless! But does anyone else worry that with them showing more of Riley he’s going to come off as too sympathetic and anybody in the audience who hasn’t read the books is going to be upset when he is ripped to shreds by Seth? I hope they show Riley as a bit of a jerk, otherwise Seth could look bad – and he’s one of my favorite characters.
Edward’s makeup is way too much in this movie. It takes away from his naturally good looks! I understand they want to have him look as pale as Meyer describes in the books, but they should also find a bit of a balance where he looks hot too! Not to say he doesn’t look smashing in this flick, but he COULD look better if they didn’t put so much white makeup on.
