  1. Connie says:

I would have loved it if he had asked B Walters if she watch Twilight? FANGS…did I miss them?

    • FreakinLoon says:

Ugh. That was utterly painful to watch and just confirms what I’ve known since they started that show a long time ago, it’s crap.

I have no idea why they let that woman (Walters) to continue working. She’s never been able to ask a question without fawning on her interviewee.

But glad to see one woman with some sense — Sherri Shepard. Still won’t make me watch even if Robert does another appearance.

  2. Lisa says:

    Ugh…no kidding. What an IDIOT!

  3. Laurie says:

I thought the same thing! Obviously, she didn’t watch the movies.

  4. Patrice says:

relax folks. sometimes it is just about habit. vampire lore has been around for a very long time, and until Twilight, they ALL had fangs. No need to call people, ‘idiot’. that’s just mean-spirited and unnecessary.

    • Jane says:

I completely agree. Most of the girls on this site tend to be COMPLETE FRAKKIN IDIOTS anyway. They make me ashamed to be a woman.

  5. sillygirl says:

Oh man he handled himself very well, but seriously, his mother is sitting right there as they are talking about his allergy to vagina’s and showing the detail photo’s. I’m surprised he didn’t turn red!!

  6. suzyquzy says:

What word would they have preferred he used..
let’s see the p word. Name a straight, healthy,
23 year old guy who would have loved the opportunity
to even be at that shoot as an onlooker. He at
least said he didn’t know where to look. He was
raised with older sisters. He knows about girls.
I liked the vailed threat no joking or no interview.

  7. sillygirl says:

P.S. the last two days the lex has given us nothing but news on Robert Pattinson…and it’s not even my Birthday!! I love you guys:)

  8. Rachel says:

You’ve just got to love the British sense of humour!

  9. Twilibrarian says:

Can you imagine being a 23 year old man, having your mother in the audience, and admitting you have a “vagina allergy?” I honestly think there is a Pattinson family joke which we aren’t in on. From the giggles, the REAL joke could never be aired on national TV. His sisters have probably grossed him out more than once.

Then we have Joy Behar’s comment on the half a bra being the wrong shape. The whole interview was hysterical, and shows us what a prankster Mr. Pattinson really is. Date older women? Sure bring on Betty White!

Thank you, Barbara Walters. He is this generation’s James Dean! I cannot wait to see Remember Me. I’m so happy to see the Twi-Cast branching out into some real dramatic roles and having such success. I just hope the writers and director(s) of BD really let this talented cast loose on these movies.

  10. TwilightRocks!!! says:

Its so nice to see interviews where Robert Pattinson looks calm and collected and completely at ease. Its also nice to have new questions because its about a different subject. Thanks for posting the interviews!!

  11. Shayla says:

hahah! that Betty White comment made me laugh soo hard!!!!!!!!

  12. stella says:

Does anyone else wish they would ask more interesting questions and less questions about the modesty shield made out of a bra and his joke about his vagina allergy? Every interviewer asks the same questions. It is not only boring for the viewer, but it is no wonder it seems that Robert Pattinson is bored with the whole interview process. He is so adorable and funny and sometimes I wish they would stop with the nonsense and ask more “get to know him” questions…and let him talk a bit, so many interupt him and I find myself so interested in what he might have said. Oh and poor Emile de Ravin, just sitting there. ;)

  13. MeyaRose says:

Ok, why the heck did no one tell Barbara Walters that Stephenie Meyer’s vampires in Twilight don’t have fangs?

  14. love2dream says:

I sure wish that they would give more questions and attention to the co-stars. We all love Twilight stars, but let’s be fair to the talented actors/actresses they work with. Poor Emily.

  15. Andrea S. says:

    Wow they completely ignored Emilie.

  16. Courtney says:

I can’t see these vids! Can someone PLZ YouTube them???

  17. Sara says:

I know it’s been been said, but could they have ignored Emilie any more? Geez, she is the star of the movie too. While I love Rob, if they wanted to only interview him, they should have just had him on. This happened with Kristen too when she was promoting “Yellow Handkerchief.” They completely ignored Eddie. The PR people for these movies should tell the interviewer ahead of time that they must give equal questions to both participants or to just book Rob or Kristen only.

  18. Julianne says:

I love Rob, so don’t get me wrong, but I thought they were rude to Emilie. Someone should have had the prescence of mind to direct the conversation to her periodically.

As far as Barbara is concerned, one of the producers during a break should have clued her in on the fang thing. She made the comment something like three times. I give the others credit for not correcting her as a sign of respect, but Barbara – if you’re going to interview, please do a modicum of research.

  19. Donna says:

The View is such a lightweight show and it always reminds me of why I’ll leave a room full of women and go talk with the group of men at a party. Their questions are inane. And Barbara Walters doesn’t even know what Twilight is about! (Fangs…puhlease!)

And poor Rob! He’s going to have to go on defending his quirky sense of humor for dense people who obviously have none. I suppose he’s right. Just start giving boring stock interviews with the same answers, or just don’t give any at all. Someone is always waiting to get their “feelings” hurt!!

  20. Mel says:

Ummmm, love Rob, but POOR Emilie! They should have had seperate interviews if they were only going to ask Rob questions. She’s a great actress, would have loved to hear more about her character. This was a reminder of why I hate The View. Does anyone else agree? Sorry if anyone likes them.
That being said, Rob was pretty hilarious, given the circumstances.

  21. Sarah says:

I agree poor Emilie de Ravin
