He Did so by creating a fake movie named after his dog. According to the rules, people only vote for moving they have seen. The fake film had several hundred 1-point votes, so obviously there were voters who were cheating. Sorry. Maybe honesty’s the best choice after all.

Hi all – It’s Jeff Bayer, the guy who created the 8th Annual TSR Movie Awards.
Just wanted to say, I don’t mind the hate, and thanks for some love. I realize it’s a “flawed” awards system, because I am expecting movie fans to be honest. For some, that’s apparently a lot to ask. This easily could have happened with any other fan group such as ‘Avatar’ or ‘Harry Potter.’ When 80-90 percent of the voters were manipulating the results (yes, it was that many), then that movie will win. But what has it really won?

I don’t think it’s the Twilight fans that should
be beat up on its a business that can’t seem to
work a poll. I will doubt the pollster from
here on out.

Well , well a pollster uses a flawed poll and
then when its flaws are used, instead of removing
the poll he removes only the movie that is winning
and which would most likely have won under any
circumstances. Whow are the Twilight fans the
only ones that use this..I don’t think so. Think
pollster will be taken seriously again?

I have to say I’m kind of embarrassed to be a Twilight fan at the moment. I think some people here need to just grow up and become a little bit more mature in situations like this…

GUYS PLEASE CHILL OUT!! So many of you are being incredibly harsh on this guy, and what right do you have to criticize him? No voting system will ever be perfect, and all of your outrageous negative comments are completely irrational and downright hurtful. How dare you publically insult this person who was simply trying to give movie fans a voice. And may I also say, you all are giving Twilight fans a horrible name in the process, showing others that we are angry people who will lash out at anything that doesn’t allow us to put Twilight up on a pedestal and smash everything else into the dust. Please just consider your comments before you post them.

I think New Moon and Twilight would have been recognized as ” Award winning ” movies if they had hired well known actors.I read all the books first and I thought they were really interesting.My granddaughter read them after me and fell in love with Edward, but really liked Jacob too, and the rest of the wolfpack.She never read anything like these books before and now she’s into rereading them.She loved both of the movies, and is waiting for more!
