People’s Choice Awards 2010 Recap

I hadn’t really liked the new mooon spoof from last night. First, it seemed too obvious to do a twilight-related spoof because of its popularity. Then it made Rob out to be a dive who wouldn’t go to the People’s Choice awards because he is too big for that, with the whole “list of demands”, when we know it was because he had a schedual conflict with filming.
Don’t sweat it Jess, everyone knows it was in fun.
I thought it was hilarious and I would fight at your side defending Rob.
I didn’t take that spoof as trying to make Rob out to be a diva. They were poking fun at his character, Edward Cullen. Hence…the things Edward requested in his trailor, and the comment about him brooding all the time. Don’t get me wrong – I still didn’t think it was incredibly funny either way!
I agree with Jess. I’m not the biggest RPattz fan but that spoof was WAY too much. Plus Queen Latifa takes everything too far and goes over the top alot.
I liked some of it but not all of it. I do like the bit at the end when she yelled out “I get the werewolf to do it!” It was funny when I first watched it I thought lol, and plus I know rob isn’t like that he’s a sweet layed back guy so no worries it was just a parody. Over top yes, take seriously? Nah. I liked the Paranormal activy but only up to the end then it was too much…so yeah Queen Latifa does take things a little far.
Loved it! Where was Kristen? Was she too busy also?
Kristen and Rob are busy – together. Most likely enjoying their time before she goes to the Sundance Festival and he promotes his movie.
It wasn’t funny. I don’t think it went too far, it just wasn’t funny. Then again, I never find these things funny.
And what the hell is Hayley wearing?!
None of the spoofs were any good or funny, they were just dumb… It is actually an art to make a good spoof and rare to find one that is actually funny…
Um, so I don’t know why but I even TAPED the PCA and watched it again today to see if I’d actually missed it, but I didn’t see Twilight win best team or best movie. Disappointing.
I was really mad they didn’t televise best movie or best team. I mean – how do you have an awards show and just leave out ‘best movie’. I don’t get it.

I am totally with you. I was sooo mad that they did not televise Best Movie. In fact I was so mad that I sent a nasty e-mail to cbs about it. Like I told them, can you even begin to imagine them NOT announcing Best Movie at the Academy Awards? It would never happen. I guess to all the big wigs, the People’s Choice does not matter as much as what the “Academy” thinks. Even though we are the ones that allow them to get such ridiculous paychecks because we go see all of ther movies, multiple times!
I haven’t watched the spoof yet, only Taylor’s acceptance speech & I have to say, daaamn that boy is smokin’!!!! Makes me wanna watch New Moon again!

OK, I just watched the spoof. Yeah I didn’t think it was that funny just because as a Twilight fan, I understand the magnitude of that particular scene. And I hope this doesn’t start bringing rumors out in the tabloids that Rob is a diva of sorts who has a list of demands.
I thought tat spoof was halrious, i was laughing so hard. Taylor Lautner cute as a button like always. Taylor Swift even stood up and claped for him when he recieved his award how cute
Thank You! Someone who gets it! It wasnt about Rob it was about Edward! And only Edward! It was just for a laugh, and it achieved that (in my opinion). I personally liked it and so it seems did Taylor. Who was lookin’ quite gorgeous I might add lol.

The best moment of the night for me was when Kellan presented the award for favorite country artist. And then to have Carrie Underwood win the award, allowing both she and Kellan to be on the same stage at the same time…well, lets just say it absolutely made my night.
