Kellan Lutz and His Dog Kola

Kellan Lutz appeared on the Nick News program along with various other celebrity dog owners. The program was trying to bring about awareness of responsible pet ownership, and how many loving pets can be found at shelters.

  2. YAY!! What a good cause! :)

  3. A cause very dear to my heart and I am so glad to see he supports this. All 3 of our dogs are from shelters and they all have a variety of issues but love us immensely and unconditionally. Two of them I got while volunteering at a shelter and it just breaks your heart to see how many wind up there. Thankfully the shelter I volunteered at was a no-kill as I don’t think I could have handled it. Yay for Kola and Kellan for helping to spread the word!

  4. I volunteered at a Humane Society that was NOT a no-kill. Needless to say I lasted about a week there. It was so heartbreaking and as much as I wanted to just bring all these animals home with me, I just couldn’t. Way to go Kellan, this is a great cause!!

I’ve never heard of the Humane society claiming to be no-kill.

What’s sad is that they (from what i’ve heard) do have to euthanize due to overpopulation at the shelters… But I don’t think they just do it recklessly. I know most shelter workers have big hearts.

  5. Yay for Kellan & Sophia! I have a huge heart for animals… all of mine were rescued & I do have to say that resucing is the most rewarding thing you can do! Once again thanks Kellan for all you do to supprort this cause!!!

  6. gosh he is so sweet and hot. love him. love him. love him.
