They do sound great! I think it might be Dakota singing lead on that song – Cherie Currie was the lead singer for Cherry Bomb and most of their other songs.

Actually it’s the original Runaways singin that song on the trailer (learn your Runaways fangirls they’re amazing)… But i do know Kristen truly sings in the movie, not too sure about Dakota though. But it looks awesome!

The girls are singing inthe movie, and people who went to the sceaning also mention that the singing was really really great.

She’s wearing a corset and panties then leaning over bearing waaaay too much cleavage for a 15 year old. I was reading the synopsis on the movie site and it said that her character is a “sex kitten.” Wonder what her parents think…
Normally I would agree-but in this case she is so mature and sure of herself, with what seems like a phenomenal moral compass, that I really think it’s a great way for her to grow as an artist. There aren’t many in the craft any more that truly are……………
Yeah, I agree with dancermommy on that one. Dakota is a phenomenal actor & obviously, who ever hired her for the part thought that she was perfect for it. You can already see another side of her from that short (and I mean short) clip.

Also, Cherie was 15 when she joined The Runaways. Dakota’s professionalism and maturity combined with her age makes her, in essense, perfect for the part.
Also if you look up the concert they did for Cherry Bomb you’ll see that they wore exactly the same outfits etc. Combine that with the age the real Cheri had and i think it’s okay for Dakota to play the part in a corset. I can’t wait for this movie

and i dont think dakotas too young at all, i think the only reason she does these types of movies and not like disney stuff or something is that so she will be able to take on roles like these that require a more grown up image.

honestly, the only way that guys will watch this movie is if there’s gonna besomething sparky going on between Joan Jett and Cherrie Curie.

There is actually a make-out scene. Someone asked Dakota about it in an interview and she was exceedingly mature as usual.
