I love his work. He’s a great singer.

Btw, he has read the books before. He said he was a fan himself. I can see him singing a power balled. I say people should judge by the song… Not souly on the person singing it.

I thought the Death Cab song was perfect for the movie and it’s become one of my favorite songs.
Having said that, I also think the soundtrack for New Moon was altogether better musically than the Twilight soundtrack. But that’s just me

Agree, I voted for him too, he is a trememdous talent but he seems to be over shadowing that with his little stunts of late. I don’t watch music awards for sexual content or gay rights or controversy and I think he picked the wrong venue to display all that. Yes, I guess the protective mom thing has kicked in.

The quality of the music there is just amazing…pure artistry! I don’t think Adam fits that indie profile that I absolutely love about Twilight saga…if I loved something about the first movie was the indie atmosphere that engulfed the film all the time and Chris Weitz…bless his heart…had the clarity to see that and not spoil NM soundtrack with mainstream singers wannabe (this is not a generalization)…so…Adam..thanks but no thanks.

I have a few friends that happen to be homosexual but the main difference I see between them and Lambert is that we agree that our choices are our own and don’t judge each other.
This is a difficult discussion, and I’m not sure it’s really the right place, but Adam said that he planned his performance on the AMAs to be controversial and while the twilight saga is doing so well, I don’t think we need to add a particularly controversial figure.
Regarding how much I know about the other artists, not much, I have no problem admitting it, but if you’re asking me if I would be upset if somebody on the film stood on a stage and started making near pornographic movements with another guy or girl, then yes I would be. I thought it was incredibly irresponsible when Kristen was photographed potentially smoking something fishy but she’s gotten her “public” act together.
I think the music should represent the film so if the film is PG 13 then the music should be too.

Well I would hope not. Personally after seeing his performance, I was shocked but angry. My kids watched to see their favorites sing and BAM! I remember seeing him for the first time (for me that is) on American Idol with my girls and he sang “Burning Ring of Fire”, it was spooky. I didn’t know what to think. I liked that he changed it but man was I freaked out.
