woo hoo. movie was rocking. great acting, visual effects, chemistry between the characters. top notch … wnderful…meet ALL i was hoping for. now bring on the rest of the movies. this just got our mouths wet. lol

Remember back in the “good” old days when people were screaming that Chris Weitz was going to screw this movie up!!!! Just goes to show how wrong we fans can be sometimes.

Go Chris! He did an awesome job! I think he’d be great for Breaking Dawn, but the chances of that happening are slim to none. They usually do different directors with each movie in a series.

I must say I agree. As of today I would love to see Chris come back for BD. He really did a great job keeping the movie close to the books. I also want to add I’m still very much looking forward to what David Slade will bring in Eclipse…maybe and hopefully we will love it even more.

This is so awesome!! I saw it at Friday night at a midnight showing, Saturday and on Sunday. Today I took my brother to see it and I have plans to see it with my best friend back home when I visit in mid December! Loved it.

I am so happy to hear New Moon did so well on its opening weekend. I’m just tired of hearing that crazy 13 year old girls made it happen. While the majority of the audience was a younger female crowd, it wasn’t just 13 year old girls. Also, I did not enjoy this movie as much as I enjoyed Twilight. I thought the acting was bad on this one and that it failed to capture the warmth of the book.

This could have been already mentioned on another post…but I was just curious…did anybody notice the book cover reference in New Moon? Catherine Hardwicke gave us a brief glance and the Twilight-apple in Edward’s hands in the first movie, but I think Chris showed us the New Moon ruffled tulip in an even more creative way.

It was when Carlisle was stitching Bella’s arm. The camera zoomed in on an overhead shot that was directly looking down at the bowl of bloody gauze. The first time was nothing, but the second time was after he had set it on fire, and it literally, looked like three of the ruffled tulips inside of the bowl. Somebody tell me that saw it too?!?!

Soooooo…. why don’t they announce plans to green light Breaking Dawn? What are they waiting for?? I think $258.8 million is enough to make another movie or two….
