maybe it's just me... but nobody mentioned how awkward the kissing scenes between edward and bella were. they seemed so heavy. but then they weren't even kissing. and one time they made sex noises. i'm just saying... it was hard for me to watch. i felt like i needed to give them privacy... if that makes any sense.. lol.

does anyone agree?

I really missed that part as well. i think there were many things that could have been fleshed out a little more. don't get me wrong, i loved hearing Edward recite lines from Romeo and Juliet but i would have def given that up for those words when they get back from Italy.

New Moon was my least favorite book in the series. Frankly, the only parts I liked were the ones that included the Cullens and the Volturi. Having said that...the movie was better than I expected.

In the books, I find Jacob extremely annoying- but I thought Taylor Lautner did a fantastic job, I was really impressed. I also liked Chaske Spencer. The rest of the pack...not so great, but to be fair, I don't think they got enough screen time to really make up my mind. I thought the wolves themselves looked good. When they first showed Sam in wolf form I got chills.

I really liked the way they added Bella's email's to Alice, thought that was clever and good for plot progression. I also liked the Edward halucinations vs. just his angry voice, thought it was well done.

My favorite human was Mike Welch, and the few scenes that Harry Clearwater was in were also great. I was sad there wasn't more Anna Kendrick, she did so great in Twilight.

Michael Sheen was AMAZING. Every time I've thought about the movie, my mind drifts back to his scenes. To me that was the best part of the film. I was completely engrossed during those scenes and wished that the rest of the film made me feel that way. Sadly, for most of the rest of the film my mind wandered...and trust me, I'm a fan.

Here were my biggest issues:
I too felt that the film was very rushed. Too rushed.

I liked that the movie began with Bella's dream, but I didn't like the setting (the meadow???) and I think they could have casted Bella's Gran much better.

I thought the makeup on Bella and the Cullens was over done. I was fine with the wigs, (except for Esme- bring back the waves!) but I thought the eyes were distracting and bizarre and the makeup- I just think it looked really obvious. Call me crazy, but I thought they looked better in Twilight.

Alice's wardrobe. UGH. That outfit in Italy was atrocious.

Alice's vision of Bella as a vampire. Double UGH. The theater (and I) erupted with laughter. I think they should have shown a vision- but I always imagined Alice showing Aro a quick shot of Bella's face as she wakes up from her transformation with red eyes. I think that would have been more effective. And a million times less cheesy.

Speaking of cheesy, the dialoge was super cheesy.

I missed the scene where Bella pretended to sleep while Alice & Charlie talked about how bad Bella had been. I really wanted to see the scene when Renee came to take Bella to FL, and she flipped out, then cried. I think that would have made you feel the depths of her depression better.

I also missed seeing Alice & Bella talk on the airplane. I think that would have built up the tension for when Bella runs through Volterra.

I get that they had to make cuts to keep the film from running too long, but I think other scenes could have been trimmed to allow for some of these other parts.

I will see it again in the theater, (after the crowds die down and there are no bitter boyfriends making snarky remaks behind me or obnoxious 13 year olds squealing every time Edward or Jacob showed up) but now I am ready to get more Eclipse details!

Oh, and I did like the ending, thought it was a good way to end, didn't miss the Jake/motorcycle scene at all.

The frolicking was a little ridiculous. But what bothered me the most, and doesn't seem to have phased anyone else was that Bella's eyes were gold! In BD, she had blood red eyes like a new born and I don't ever remember her eyes switching to gold. Could be wrong though.

Okay. Here's the thing; The movie is 100% crap. The clothes..let's just say someone NEEDS to fire the person that caused that mess! The writing is so mind numbingly bad that I think you lose like 5 IQ points just from buying your ticket! Kristen really didn't listen to the advice of ANYONE about maybe..oh I don't know...TAKING ACTING CLASSES AND TRY TO BECOME WHAT SHE GETS PAID FOR!?! The thing about Twilight is that it's already borderline Chessy- get a cast like KS, an director that sucks at action scenes and Awful CGI. Add to that Everything from BAD hair, make-up and clothing. Bad acting from THE LEADS (Other than Taylor-he did pretty good) chage around a whole lot of crap that DIDN'T NEED to be changed and add a bunch of painful, awkward dialogue plus, scenes that people were laughing at that I'm sure weren't meant to be laughed at...mix all that crap together and you have EPIC FAIL # 2!! Run fangirls and show you have No Standards. No Taste and are mindless masses..'cause they Slaped the Twilight Name on it! ;)

Wow I hardly even noticed the score so I find it really interesting so many people hated it. I really liked how there were scenes where there appeared to be no music.

Certainly if you really dislike KS then nothing is going to change your mind but I thought her performance was much better.

Loved Loved Loved the wolves CGI. I thought it was perfect and you definitely could feel the ground shake.

Yeah the scene with them in the woods is a little corny but it was only a couple of seconds, and I kind of liked Rob all in white..sexy. And Bella isn't supposed to be unrecognisable to Charlie, just different otherwise they would have had to leave town.

I also liked how they had the sparkle/diamond effect. So much better without the windchimes.

Wish Edward had said blackest kind of blasphemy line.

Also still no lullaby but I'm just giving up on that.

Can't really think of a critical scene they missed out. Hope Chris does a director's cut for the DVD.
