I hope the questions get better… how has relating to a wolf impacted your life? Come on…. In fairness, maybe it had to do with the translation.

  • Sara says:

OMG…that translation was terrible!!! I mean I speak English and Spanish, and I am embarrased for this!!! What a terrible job!! Shame of them! This lady trying to translate too literally…you can’t do that!!! ufff…it gets so upset! What a waste of their time!

  • CindyBlack says:

LMAO! they both have a “WTF did she say?!” face. ha poor things, that translator is horrible.

TRANSLATOR: “What do you film in your life, uh to interpret like a wolf and a girl that is related with this wolfs…people.”

*Taylor and Kristen stare at each other confused*
TAYLOR: “Can we get that one more time?” LMAO

They handled themselves with grace though, and got through the questions. i woulda been like “uuuuhhh…” HA!

    • Martina says:

I live in Mexico and English is my first language. Also there is a lot of people here in Mexico City that speaks and understand English perfectly. This was a problem with the translator not with the people here. This lady did such a terrible work. When Rob Pattinson came we didnt had this problem. Everything went okay. So, is nobody´s fault but the lady not doing things properly dont you think? So I agree that they should anticipated the language barrier ANYWHERE

      • CindyBlack says:

im also from mexico so i understand both languages perfectly. and i agree it was the translators fault, she was horrible.

      • ScarletRubie says:

i’m mexican american and i’m pretty much fluent in spanish and english and the translator was horrible, i could’ve done a better job, maybe she was a little nervous or something. It just wasn’t good.

      • ScarletRubie says:

I probably would’ve felt so uncomfortable, that lady was not giving a clear translation, she wasn’t finishing it before she started somethign else. It sucks when you don’t understand what they’re asking you yet they want you to answer it, i know spanish but obviously they didn’t so it probably wasn’t too fun for them.

  • Estela says:

I agree with Sara, the translation was horrible….I was even confused and I could understand what they were asking….Summit needs to send them their own translators when they travel to a foreign country…..next time bring someone that can translate from the USA….there are plenty here that would be willing to do it. What a shame….

  • Mel says:

Does anyone else think it looks like Kristen has a pixie cut hair style. I know she’s probably just pulled it back but because of the quality of the video, it looks like she shaved her head.

  • Ellen says:

For all the power Summit is wielding these days, seems they could have anticipated the language barrier and handled it a little better. Come on Summit, you can’t just rake in the money and not give your stars some support.

    • Melisa says:

How is this Summit’s fault?! Blaming them for every little thing that goes wrong is beyond obnoxious.

      • Ellen says:

Isn’t this tour to promote a Summit project… their movie, their tour, therefore, I would consider it their responsiblity to make the appropriate arrangements… Do you really think the stars of New Moon would choose to come off shooting a movie to travel 12-14 hours a day, make their way through screaming fan filled airports only to have to make sense of asinine questions.

        • Melisa says:

What are you talking about? They did make the appropriate arrangements. They can’t control the people of Mexico and they don’t tell them what to ask at these functions. And they were done shooting the movie at this point. When you’re doing an international event it’s a co-parternership. Summit is NOT the one that interviews and picks the translators. That’s up to the people hosting nation to do.

  • AV says:

That was a horrible translation job. Wish I could’ve heard it with out the interpreter.

  • Julie M. says:

The translation might have been hard to understand, but they just made me smile. They are both so humble and handled it very well. Great job Kristen and Taylor.

  • Twilight Nymph says:

I also speak both languages and seriously this lady is horrible at translating. I think they should have some one who can really translate Spanish into English. I truly feel sorry for Taylor and Kristen.

  • AJM says:

q verguenza con la traductora, ubieran puesto a alguien mejor DX

  • joyce acosta says:

the translater was so horrible. i speak both languages and i bet i could have than that much more batter because i am not a big fan of jacob:-)but i still like him!

  • kelsey says:

  • MishhL says:
