I didn’t have a strong opinion either way until I found out he did The Golden Compass. Then I was excited b/c I knew he would do amazing effects. Once they started filming you could see his passion for being true to the book and I knew NM movie would live up to the book. Still seems true and I’m so excited to see it!!!

oh cmon i didn’t mean literally, of course they haven’t shown the whole movie what I mean is that they’ve shown insight to basically every major scene of the film that we are waiting to see. they should leave some of it for suspense. and also i love kristen stewart as an actress and a person, ive seen all her other films and shes brill but i personally don’t think shes fit for the part of bella. she doesn’t play her well at all, in twilight at least i have yet to see if she’s raised her game in new moon but right now i don’t really have a good opinion of her as bella.

Don’t exaggerate. According to my calculations, they have shown less than 15 minutes of official clips. That’s hardly half of a two hour movie.

Furthermore, I love Kristen as Bella. She’s absolutely adorable, and plays the part quite well.

whoa okay the interview is brill BUT he hasnt showed a little of the film they have practically shown the whole film through all the trailers and clips now! and kristens performance?! well, i dunno i have mixd opinions but there are a hell of a lot of people i know who wish someone else played bella!

Not so sure about New Moon being compared to fois gras, not a positive thing in my mind! Still, gross comparison aside, will be an awsome film, can’t wait to see it!

Remember the ‘uproar’ when Chris was announnced as the director for New Moon?? Seems almost laughable now, doesn’t it? (kinda like a similar situation when a certain actor was cast as the vampire hero…)

I’m glad to say I wasn’t bothered about the change in directors and I really take my hat off to him for taking on this project so wholeheartedly and in the process, endearing himself totally to the cast and fans with his enthusiasm, vision and wonderful sense of humour.

I agree. Since Chris seems to be such a pro at the effects stuff & can get the best guys in the business to work with him, he’d be a really strong candidate. I hope Summit realizes this & at takes a serious look at him. The actors love him too & say he knows how to get them to give their best performances. I think one of the actors called him an actor’s director or something like that. Well whatever it is, Summit needs to get moving on BD because we can’t go waiting a very long time between Eclipse & BD. On another note, it was a terrific interview. The more he talks about how beautifially shot the movie was, the more I can’t wait until Nov. 20 is here! And what a huge compliment to Kristen! NEW MOON…….26 more days!
