I’m thinking this is the scene after Italy, not a dream sequence. I wouldnn’t be surprised if they had Jake phase here to emphasize the volatile nature of the wolves… so maybe Edward will look like less of a douche when he gets all controlling at the beginning of Eclipse :p

Wow this tv spot was just plain awesome! I’m amazed that i got to watch two new clips in one day and someone said a new one will be out tomorrow? Cool. And i love the changes that they are making. They aren’t subtle, yet they could have easily been part of the book. Chris Weitz is just so amazing and i can’t wait to get in line at the theatre. I plan to see this movie as many times as possible. I already know for sure i’ll see it at least twice. I also hope Chris Weitz directs Breaking Dawn because he is absolutly wonderful.
I truly love all of the werewolf scenes. The wolves look great and i hope the added suspense and violence will bring in a whole new crowd. I really think the guys will actually want to go out and see this film, which does the franchise that much better. More money to make Breaking Dawn the movie announced and to make it that more awesome.

No, no, no I didn’t like the ending scene. Edward would never shove Jake, he’s actually grateful for what he did to Bella and of course he WOULDN’T leave her standing if front of a phased wolf just like that. Geez, it looked so good, but it’s kinda ruined now…
Don’t they nearly fight at the end of the book? It’s implied that Edward is pretty pissed off, to some extent.
Yeah, I think they basically almost get into it because they are so angry with each other. Bella basically has to “drag” Edward back to the house because Charlie is yelling for her. So it makes sense, he shoves Jacob, Jacob phases, Bella gets in the middle (even thought that is so not Edward), and then they return to the house. At least that is how it plays out in the book.

November 20th can’t come soon enough for me! I’ve lost count how many times I’ve read all 4 books and how many times I have seen the 1st movie. I thought the 1st movie was good, but I have to say compared to what I’ve seen of New Moon so far WOW. Chris Weitz is an awesome director & Catherine Hardwicke could learn a thing or 2 from him! IMHO Also if people feel that the book has been ruined by the movie, then don’t watch the movie – simple.

It is quite fantastic really. I am very pleased to see that the wolf animation has vastly improved. Stuff like that wasn’t possible just a few years ago. It makes me happy to see things looking this good, as HOPEFULLY, within the next year, some of my own projects will be hitting the road to production. That is the wonderful thing about this business is that you tend to feel like you are permenantly on hold, and then BANG something happens. I truly appreciate the Twilight Saga (love it or hate it), as it is paving tech and audiance wise, my way to getting my own werewolf/vampire fantasy opera to the eventual big screen debute. Granted folks it isn’t anything like Twilight, of which is a good thing. It is more along the lines of Star Wars… Just keep checking my My Space for updates and such… although they tend to be few and far between, as I’ve been bogged down with trying to finish a project my agent is killing me to get done, so we can approach Summit…
Also on the note of werewolves… Brad Steiger (Author of Werewolf Book: Encylopedia of Shapeshifting Beings) is a good friend of mine, and he might be doing a revamp of the 1999 book, if so I am going to make sure he has Twilight related stuff in it.
Getting back on the New Moon track… You know while I really LOVE (again look at my My Space, and you can see what character I favor. :p) seeing all of these new wolf shots and all, I can’t help but think that they are over teasing us. I know there are a LOT of happy eager fans, and seeing this stuff makes me even more eager, but in the end, there isn’t any more surprise.
This brings me to my next complaint… I truly understand Summit’s decision to bring (at least the first 3 movies to life), but doing it this fast, is a mistake. Granted they are going to get it out and overwith, but in truth, financially I think they could make a lot more money if the did one, every two years, much like the Harry Potter movies did. This gives the actors a break, to do other things, gives the production people a break, to work on something else, and more importantly gives the fans a break to fully appreciate each movie. All of this Twlight is like a vampire/werewolf overload. Then what will happen when it is all over with?
Summit will have their money, but what will new fans have to look forward to (other than yearly conventions)…
I disagree, there were fans of the franchise before the movies and they will stick around long after (Star Wars, right?)I would hate for this to drag on for years. I love Harry Potter second only to Twilight and I though the last movie was awful. It has me worried about the final one which is supposed to be the best.
I thought that Half-Blood Prince was pretty fantastic as an adaptation. It was a hard book to adapt, but they did admirably with what they had. Thankfully, DH will be two films, and they’re expanding the roles of Dobby and Scrimgeour. There’s even a rumor that DH Part 1 will open with Dumbledore’s funeral as a sort of flashback.
Noah Brighten, After reading just the last bit of your post where you say what will new fans have etc … well they will have the pleasure of reading the books and watching all the movies over and over like a lot of us do now, They won’t have to wait like we currently are & I for 1 am happy that we don’t have to wait years from 1 movie to the next. The wait we do have is bad enough lol. Like I’ve said before if people are going to moan, nit-pick and complain about the movie spoiling the books for them then they should just not watch the movies … SIMPLE I say!
I LOVED this trailer, but with all of the trailers that have been released thus far, I can tell I am going to have a BIG problem…with all the nitpicking fans! Good Lord, just the trailers look so much better than Twilight ever did. YES, some things are going to be changed. I feel so sorry for the people who will be too busy dissecting ever scene, book in hand, to actually enjoy the darned thing, and then I feel sorry for myself because I will have to skim over said complaints to read everyone else who agrees that this is absolutely fantastic!
As for Edward pushing Jacob, I loved it. I love Edward AND Jacob, but really Jacob is just so immature and cocky, I would have loved for Edward to have put him in his place-physically-just once.

Omg it is not a fight. The bit were bella says jake dont i 2 words mixed up from 2 differnt scenes. LIsten to it a few times and youll see what I mean. And edward gets away with 2 much. If jacob did that to edward bella would NEVER forgive him but when little edward does it she just pushes him away. And bella is such a baby jacob deserves to beat the shit outa edward for that
