Tinsel Korey Vancouver Bound After la Push Visit
This in from the Quileute Nation:
“Tinsel Korey who portrays Emily in the Twilight Saga:New Moon leaves the Quileute Nation today to begin filming Eclipse in Vancouver. Korey spent a week on the Quileute reservation in LA Push, WA teaching acting classes for the K-12 Tribal School and raising funds for the school with an appearance on First Beach with legendary Quileute Elder Chris Morganroth.
The character Emily is actually from the Makah tribe, so Korey also traveled to Neah Bay to speak with the youth and Elders of the Makah Nation. Tinsel was welcomed by the Makah with an honoring ceremony and given a flag to their nation.
“In true native tradition, she is doing what our ancestors & elders have taught us to do for centuries” states Chairwoman Carol Hatch, “Tinsel is giving back and sharing her gifts and talents with our Native youth.”
“Tinsel now knows were Emily and the “Wolf Boys” live and has walked the shores of First Beach, she can take that spiritual energy with her to the set.” states Quileute publicist Jackie Jacobs.
“Tinsel is bringing awareness to the real Quileute and Makah Nations. That is very honorable, generous and respectful. She is alway “Welcome” to come back anytime.”
Catherine Hardwicke In Guinness Book of World Records
“When it comes to some of the biggest movies of the decade, Guinness World Records has it covered. JJ Abram’s re-imagination of Star Trek made it into this year’s book as the “Most Downloaded Movie Trailer (24 Hours)” with 1.8 million downloads on Apple.com in the first day and more than five million in its first five days of release. Twilight, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, has captured the hearts and wallets of millions while claiming the record for “Highest-Grossing Movie By A Female Director”.

Twilight Saga Twitter Round Up: David Slade Praises the Crew
David Slade is tweeting away again. He sounds in better spirits than he did the last time. He’s again paying homage to the unsung heroes behind the scenes. This time it is J.W. who David refers to as the “King of grips”.
In case you were wondering what exactly it is that a grip does, Wikipedia has a good description. You can easily see why this position is key in any movie, especially a stunt heavy one.
“Grips also satisfy rigging needs on set…More advanced rigs can include working with pulleys, steel cable or trusses. Grips are also called on to rig picture cars on process trailers and placing camera and lights all around the vehicle to achieve driving shots…When shooting interiors day-for-night on location, grips need to cut all the daylight entering onto set. If the scene is “blocked” or staged away from windows or other openings to the outside, the light may be simply blacked out with cloth or plastic sheeting…Grips are also responsible for safety on the set as it relates to the force of gravity. Insofar as stands, ladders, scaffolds, and overhead rigs are properly installed, grips are charged with making them safe because the other crew members will invariably have to climb on, walk around, or otherwise negotiate the different grip set-ups. As regards legal statute, the key grip may even be held liable for injuries that happen on set, especially if the injury is the cause of something falling down onto somebody…”
Other David tweets include:
“Forrest again today, tomorrow we do wolf shots, saw some great wolf tests today, early stages developed from New Moon wolves.”
and
“Worked w/entire Cullen family today. @peterfacinelli borrowed my camera, took my picture being strangled by Jackson, will upload later…”

Mullet to the Bob, here’s how.
Kristen Stewart still has her mullet (We’re guessing that she can’t change the style and color because she may yet have some work to do on The Runaways.) but the other night it was pinned up into a chique, faux bob.

In case you were wondering how to duplicate the look, here’s how.
Jodelle Ferland Excited About Eclipse
The New York Beauty Examiner was able to ask Jodelle Ferland a few questions:
“I understand that right after the news broke that you had joined the Twilight family, fans went crazy and you got some intense reactions from your friends. Has the hype died down at all for you?
Yeah. I mean at first everybody was going crazy and everyone was congratulating me. They’re still all really excited and it hasn’t…no, they haven’t calmed down that much. *laughs* I have a Twitter account, and that hasn’t calmed down at all, I’m still getting the same amount of followers. Everyday. On the first couple of days I was getting A LOT, and now its not quite as many everyday. But it’s been about the same pace. My friends have calmed down a little bit, but they are still really really really excited.”
