I don’t know about you, but here at the Lex we have totally been enjoying reading all the tweets from The Twilight Saga: Eclispe director David Slade. His most recent tweet should be exciting for Team Jacob fans.
Yesterday Taylor had to carry Kristen for several hours, he held it together – hope he can lift his arms today. Rain dumped on us all day.
Ok I am so tired of hearing about Taylor. No offense Taylor fans but enough already. What happened to Edward? I mean he is in Eclipse if I remember it right. LOL Eclipse is when Bella and Edward get engaged. I dont get why its all about Jacob all the time. Summit WAKE up!
I think the reason why David keeps tweeting about Taylor and Kristen is because that is the majority of footage they are filming. It’s still too sunny to be shooting some of the vampire scenes. I heard Ashley Green in an interview the other day and she mentioned how everyone arrived on set, went through makeup only to be told that Kristen and Taylor would be the only ones filming because it was going to be sunny that day. I’ve been keeping track of the Vancouver weather because I’m hoping to go up on a job interview up there and it’s much better than the weather here in Boston. It’s been sunny and 70 in Vancouver for the the past couple of weeks, hence so few vampire scenes. I think the Edward/Bella stuff will come later.
Good insight Christine. That explanation sounds totally reasonable since we’ve heard from all three directors about how the weather pretty much calls the shots for the day. Whatever it is, I enjoy David Slade’s tweets. Keep em’ coming Twilight Lexicon!!
ur totally right i mean what is up with them talking about taloyr lautner all the time and yeah i do miss edward i think now why they are starting to talk about him because he is supposably…

It’s all a marketing strategy.
Taylor/Jake is BIG in New Moon and New Moon is coming out in November so that angle needs to be played up as much as possible. I also think that’s why there were more pics of Kristen and Taylor at the VMA’s than there were of Kristen and Rob.
I think you’ll see in January or February that Rob will start to take center stage in preparation for the release of Eclipse.
Like I said, though…JMHO…
Well the pics I saw of Kristen and Rob were cozy enough, so if they’re not going to take pics with cast members professionally, then perhaps less IS more. I mean, it IS about the movie and story, right? It’s not about Edward/ROBERT necessarily, right? RIGHT? And, by the way, I am Switzerland!
Am I the only one speculating what scene this is that has Jacob carrying Bella for hours
I have a feeling it’s when Edward does his handoff to Jacob while they lead Bella away from the newborns up the mountain

That is totally what it has to be. I don’t remember an other time in Eclipse where Jacob carries Bella around. The Fire and Ice scene will follow which will hopefully be amazing.
I was thinking the same thing. I am really looking forward to those scenes!
the Fire and Ice chapter was one of my favorite chapters ineclipse i cant wait for that scene but i also hated it cuz jake was being a jerk but oh well

why was he carrying her anyway well i hope hes OK because well i really am getting tired of hearing about Taylor lautner like seriously. they need to talk about Robert pattinson more often……..!!!!!!!!!!!
if you have read eclipse yet, its a part when he has to carry bella through the woods to create a fake trail. But i’m not sure if you’ve read it yet, so i don’t wanna give anything away
missing edward – i agree with you – the one time David Slade tweeted about a Bella/Edward scene, the comments weren’t as glowing as the ones he used for Taylor
Actually, no I do NOT enjoy Slade’s tweets because it’s always about taycob! Enough already! Last time I checked there are a lot of other people in the movie and I would like to hear about them too! Of course, it would be great to hear SOMETHING about Rob. I’m really getting fed up with Slade and scummit…they don’t care about the fans any more.
