According to an exclusive on Take 40, the Used are on the New Moon soundtrack:
“When we spoke to Bert McCracken of The Used yesterday, he revealed that a new song of theirs entitled ‘For You I Would’ was set to be the title track!
“It’s gonna be a big deal,” Bert told take40.com. “We wrote a really awesome original song for the movie.”
Bert also said that former Nine Inch Nails musician Danny Lohner produced the track.”

Ive got the soundtrack to twilight and love it to pieces, hope the new one will be just as great!
I’m not sure that I really like the first song from the soundtrack but seeing this makes me happier about the album. I look forward to hearing The Used’s song. I also hope that it works out that Muse has a song on the album too.
Great news..i love the fact that ppl is writing songs for the movie..original songs…that it is more than just a collection of songs that fit….

That’s awesome. I’ve been a fan of The Used since I lived in Washington State (which was about 6 1/2 years ago) Everytime I hear them I think about Washington, since that’s where I heard them for the first time. Kind of ironic for me that they’ll be on the New Moon soundtrack….
I thought that Death Cab for Cutie’s song was going to be the title track…?
