I love that line! I think it tells a lot about Carlisle’s character…and Peter had to ask to have it put in? I know actions speak louder than words, but really! Does Melissa Rosenberg even understand the characters she is writing about? Stupid question, I know, but you’d think she’d learned something from the last movie.

Wow, that’s one of my favorite Carlisle lines as well! I’m so glad he insisted upon putting it in that scene. I can’t wait to see it!

And I totally understand where he’s coming from, with the whole in-character thing. I’m sure he could have done a spontaneous impression of it on some level. But since professional actors usually take some time to “get into character” before doing their scenes, it feels awkward to them… Kind of like how the Wolf Pack actors don’t like having to growl on cue for interviews, haha. (Even Jamie was laughing before he did his line as Caius, lol.)

Anyway, as always, we love Peter! Can’t wait to see him in New Moon.

I also love that line. It’s so truly Carlisle-esque.

Oh man…that line that Carlisle says is so unbelievably great. He says that line to Bella while he sews up her arm after the infamous birthday party scene.

I remember getting goosebumps while reading it.

I totally and completely understand where Peter’s coming from. I am that way, as well, I have to be in costume and have some time with my character to be able to do something in that character. However, because I’ve also been trained in improv, I probably could pull something out of my butt easier.
