So now that we have completed polls on songs for Edward, Jacob, and Bella it’s time to look at the other characters. So what would Alice’s theme song be? I have pondered this and honestly I am having trouble thinking of one!! I know, I know it is a sad day when I can not be inspired by music for a character. The only thing that comes to mind is “Tiny Dancer” which has nothing to do with Alice . Laura’s (Pel) choice is “Mysterious Ways” by U2. So help me out here and tell me what you think Alice’s theme song is. We will run a poll next weekend.

You guys have to check out “This is the Future” by Owl City. It’s electronica, upbeat and sparkly, and conveys Alice’s sense of optimism about the future and her friendship with Bella. As SM says, Alice trusts her future.
I saw a post about Crash Test Dummies- “The Psychic” and actually that’s what pops into my head first for Alice. Doesn’t quite fit though, just makes me think of her.

This song has stuck with me for quite some time! Picture Alice & Jasper leaving suddenly in Breaking Dawn. Now picture Edward sitting at his piano playing “Tears for Alice” by David Lanz. It is more along the lines of ‘Bella’s Theme’ but clearly something that Edward would compose for Alice knowing that she has gone away & left everyone dejected. He doesn’t touch his piano again until she returns. The return song would have to be more upbeat to signify life after the fight scene when she is revealed & everything moves towards conclusion.

It reminds me of Alice and Jasper, how she was already waiting for him in the diner. It’s a very upbeat bouncy song. Seriously, check it out and you will see. One of the lines says: I got my heart set, my feet wet, and he don’t even know yet but no one need to know right now.
Well, I don’t know what everyone else might think but I suggest Fabulous from High School Musical 2 for Alice’s theme song. I don’t know why but I just think it fits perfectly with her personality and how she thinks. I think this song fits her because she is fashion conscious and is always playing Dress up with Bella. That’s just my two cents.
