“Its official! Jodelle has been cast in the Twilight Saga, The 3rd Film, Eclipse! she will playing The Newborn Vampire! We are really excited for her. How so many of you had petitioned for Jodelle to be cast as Jane, and now she gets to work alongside the cast and Dakota Fanning who was cast as Jane for New Moon. AND…It doesnt stop there, Jodelle has also been cast in a new film for 2010, called The Cabin In The Woods its a horror movie and you can find more about the film and its cast at IMDB.com Its hoping to be released in February! i can kind of see how people wanted her for jane, but i’m wondering what her equivalent role IS in the series… bree? one of the other random seattle girls that got turned? charlotte? “the newborn vampire” isn’t that descriptive…

Weirdly enough – she played the murdered SON Michael (the creepy ghost boy) in The Messengers. She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy at the age of 6. Talented girl.

She’s perfect for the role of Bree. I’ve seen her on “Smallville” and “Supernatural” and some other things, and she’s really good at playing the creepy little girl killer. She’s a talented actress, especially for someone that age. Good choice.

I’m pretty sure that she was cast as Bree. Maria was never described as being a “newborn”. Just that she was creating a newborn army, so that she could reclaim her “territory”.

Even though I didn’t imagine any new born like her, Hope she does a good job!
You know I can totally picture her as Bree which is a surprise, because there aren’t that many of the actors cast that look like what I thought they would (not complaining but we all know how the images in our heads don’t always match real life.)
But I can see her as Bree, can’t wait to see her actually play the role.
