I think this is so unprofessional on the studios part….For someone who just lost her job Rachel is I would say.. handling it nicely! Other people would have made a huge deal and gone down fighting! As for the studio….THERE IS SOMTHING GOING ON THERE! This is a really big movie to have let Rachel go…knowing of course there would be many upset fans! Just remember who pays you and if u do not bring Rachel back ….Fans will be lost!!! Everyone suffers for that! Not Rachel!

I personally don’t find this whole thing that important?? She was good in the short amount of time that she was on camera, but I don’t find her performance crucial to the character of Victoria. How do we have any idea, what the new actress will bring to the character? She may be a wonderful Victoria. Studios and actors go through these things all the time. Why is such big news now? If I didn’t tell my boss that I was taking vacation for a week months in advance, but I go on vacation anyway. He has the option of firing me!

They made a huge mistake in letting her go. She MADE the part of Victoria…Out of the entire cast there were only 6 actors/actresses that were cast perfectly to their role. What a HUGE disappointment!!!

Sounds like a miscommunication. However, it was summitts choice to terminate her.

Its unfortunate that fans are the ones paying the price.

She was the perfect person cast for the role as victoria.

Cheri..you are totally right! I was just going to say that… what if it was Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart with a 10 day overlap with another movie?? you can bet your dollar that they would postpone or work around them. Victoria is the key character in Eclipse. I was reading PerezHilton and his “sources” claim that they would have to pay Rachelle more money and didn’t want to do that so they hired BDH to keep the spending down….this is all just crap…

I would still think BD will be made regardless what happens. And if Summit don’t want the project that is BD, there are bigger studios who will snap that rights.

Summit does sounds like a petty teenager with that composed letter. If they think they can shut fans up, they’ve got another thing coming.

Pretty unprofessional, I would say.

I agree.

NM and EC, I’ll still watch them. It’s to satisfy myself, not Summit or anybody.

However, regarding the expensive DVD, I’ll probably borrowed it from a source. Minimum $$ spend and Summit will lose a customer.
