The Coventry Telegraph put together information from a series of interviews asked of the Twilight Saga movie producers at the Vision Awards. By different reporters, they were asked about the future of the series. Additionally, reporters asked if they would ever consider some kind of spin-off featuring the Volturi. They said that they were committed to finishing the vision the Stephenie had but after that,
“Stay tuned. I think if our movies do as well as the first did all possibilities are out there. But right now we need to finish what we have and finish Stephenie’s vision as best we can and then let’s see where the audience demands us to go from there.”

So, (keep in mind this is just speculation no contracts or anything like that exist)would you want some kind of spin-off?
I can’t imagine anything that wouldn’t be total exploitive crap. Granted, Stephanie could write book 5 (in which the Volturi are finally deposed. However to do this without replicating all the Mary Sue problems of BREAKING DAWN, I think Stephanie would finally have to let some of her beloved characters die.) Whatever the case, it seems like Stephanie has moved on to other projects. Given how much her writing has grown and evolved (see THE HOST), I think I’d rather read her new narratives rather get sucked into the vapid commercialism of a 4 film.
If anything, let it be about Claire/Quil. We’ll get to see the werewolves’ story as the focus and Bella/Edward can live their lives in peace.
Personally, I wouldn’t want it. The movies are crazy enough, if another spin off came…It would not be pretty. And then if the script came and was bad, then it will kill the fan base.
Also, I do not get what it will be about? Like okay Volturi, cool, but what’s it going to be? Like little minisodes? I personally cannot imagine that and personally wouldn’t want that.
Somehow it sounds very dangerous, and ugly?…
Only way I would enjoy it is if Stephenie helped write it. I dont think a spin off would be good, well actually maybe a movie about Renesmee and Jacob, that could have potential but other than that, no thanks lol
I would like to say I would love for the Twilight Saga to continue, but only if Stephenie Meyer writes it and she is not planning on writing anything else about this world for some years. I can not see anyone that doesn’t have a clue about her world making anything up that Twilight fans would not protest about. This is Stephenie Meyer’s baby and I couldn’t see her letting anyone mess with it without her input. If and only if this spin off comes for SM will it be successful.
There are many avenues this can go, I am sure many people would love to see what happens in Renesmee and Jacobs relationship, there is definitely drama there, especially since she is one of a few of her kind, with a male that could content for her heart. And lets not forget about the Volturri, they aren’t going to let the slap in the face they recieved from Breaking Dawn go so easily.
