there’s no right answer to that question. it’s produced, written & directed by americans, animated mostly by korean studios. and voiced originally in english. it’s heavy east asian influences in terms of clothing, martial art style philosophy, mysticism
and also the fact that all text appearing within the series is ancient mandarin can confuse most into believing it is an completely japanese product.

first ofa ll the genres and the original mediums are completely different. so a comparative is irrational.plus a live action adaptation for airbender would be difficult for everyone. but i will say this, twilight maybe bigger but definitely not better. A:TLA’s symbolism, magnitude, character complexity(definitely made women look better than twilight) comprehensiveness through narative parallels for real world situations makes it in terms of plot elements simply a few clouds above. even most fans see it through the ‘it is a cartoon’ tinted glasses.

no offence because i love both avtar and twilight but isn’t unfair because this is a twilight fanbase websitw so of course most people will choose eclipse like an avatar fanbase most people will choose avatar because those are where fans of the series go to. i choose avatar just because of the kids and the male audience.

The Last Airbender and Eclipse will go toe to toe, with Eclipse beating it out just slightly with all the fans. I just hope the Last Airbender doesn’t become another Speed Racer, great movie, with no audience.

I saw the New Moon and the Last Airbender trailers before the Transformers last night. What a treat! The Last Airbender trailer didn’t show much, but it was the first time I’ll seen the New Moon trailer on the big screen. Awesome!!

i think eclipse will DEF b more popular than airbender like dont get me wrong i luved that show and it’ll be good but think about it The Twilight Saga VS. a little Nickelodeon tv show made a movie…..its not a very big competition
