Barbie and Ken Meet Twilight

So far we can only find this on the Canadian version of Toys R Us online. We’re not really sure what we think. This would be the third set of  “dolls” if you count the action figures and the high-end Tonner dolls.

We can’t imagine that they won’t be available in the US sooner or later. Via TwiCrack

  1. Rachel says:

I like these best! Even though the ones I got from hot topic were more realistic I guess

  2. DetroitStyle says:

Ew! Edward looks like a chick. The Ken version of him is terrible! He looks nothing like that.

  3. Diana says:

I think the Bella doll is too pretty!

Where is the Jacob doll dammit!?!?

  4. Tara Carter says:

Barbie doesn’t even LOOK like Bella!! WTF? They don’t even make any of the dolls look close enough to what they represent, that’s why I stopped playing with Barbies. Ken looks closer to Edward than Barbie does to Bella (did that make sense??)

    • Twilight Nymph says:

It does make sense and I agree. Barbie would be more of a Rosalie, even though I think that personally, Barbie is not even that pretty, cuz she looks like she got plastic surgery. LOL

  5. Adiene says:

The only thing that looks like Bella and Edward is the clothing :( I am a barbie collector so i would get them anyways just because its “Twilight Inspired” hehe

  6. yas says:

    wtf?

  7. Amy says:

haha I’d buy them for the fun but Edward scares me..

  8. Sabrina says:

LOL. I think they’re cute. They’re better than the other ones I saw. My daughters will be demanding them as Christmas presents, no doubt. Now, lets hope they make the rest of the Cullen brood into Barbie dolls. I wanna play w/ Jasper :P
    Cheers!
    Sabrina

  9. Jenna says:

They are SO generic. Bella looks like Barbie with brown hair. It seems like they tried with Edward…but didn’t succeed.

  10. ljc says:

OH guys its all FUN!!!! they look cute.

  11. ILoveEC says:

Hah, “Bella Barbie” is the only thing that comes to my mind…

  12. Loveatfirstbite29 says:

Ken? Really? Um, I’m pretty sure that Edward is the ANTITHESIS of Ken.

  13. Mimi Cullen says:

Not sure if I like them or not but I will purchase them if offered in US because

  14. Casey says:

Um, am I the only one who thinks Edward looks like…Adam Lambert???
And yes. Bella is strictly Barbie.

  15. Melisa says:

And people wonder why everyone keeps saying Twilight is marketed toward 12-14 year old girls.

    • Loveatfirstbite29 says:

Well, I don’t think I even know any 12-14 year old girls who would want these. However, my kindergartner has expressed some interest, lol!

  16. FreakinLoon says:

This is disturbing. Edward looks like a frozen Edward popsicle.

    They nailed the outfits perfectly.

  17. tina says:

is the edward doll SParKling?!?! cuz ew.

  18. arazcal says:

Since when does Edward sport a high-top fade?! ;)
Personally, i like the “bouffant” (as R.Patz refers to it).

  19. Switzerland says:

    i
    want
    them
    both
    even
    though
    my
    friends
    will
    dis-own
    me.

  20. Manda says:

LOL wowww Is it normal to feel frightened upon looking at them? Edward looks like he’s got a monster jaw & the sparkles frighten me. He looks nothing like an Edward. More like Ken with real hair and gay. Bella…she’s just regular Barbie with brown hair. It’s dull.

Plus…as much as the media claims, the audience of Twilight is NOT 6-year-old girls. Rather, it is a much more mature audience than that. Marketers, stop milking in Twilight because you’re starting to look pathetic.

  21. courtney says:

ok, um ken as edward is seriously creepy and bella looks soo much like barbie.

  22. Luana says:

right…………. Is it my imagination or is it mentioned in one of the books that Bella doesn’t like being “bella barbie”? ……. inntteerreesstinngg…

  23. Randi says:

The “bella barbie” thing you’re thinking of is when Bella is being made over by Alice for prom, and says she’s not coming over anymore if she gets treated like “guinea-pig barbie” when she does. :P

  24. Rhea says:

Ok I am a hard core fan but I think they both look like CRAP! I prefer the Tonner dolls over these. Edward looks just eww and Bella looks like Barbie with brown hair. The only thing that looks good about them are their clothes. They are not worth the 40 dollars.

  25. caravsangel says:

Finally some Twilight dolls I like! These will definitely be going into my collection.

    • Lois says:

I agree. You, compared to the other people on this comment sheet seem not to see the beauty in this set of Barbie and Ken, you, seem to have your head screwed on the right way. I too appreciate the look of them, and I don’t even watch Twilight. When you find out what chain of stores carry them, please send me an e-mail and let me know, so I can get my hands on a pair…Thanks in Advance

  26. morg says:

man dudes i jst threw away all meh barbie dolls lk a week ago! well i guess 13 yr olds shouldnt play with them….but i shoulve kepp them! i couldve sooo played twilight now when i get these(:

  27. annonymous says:

This is just weird. Edward doesn’t even look close to Edward, he looks like he should have a guest spot on “Queer as Folk.” Bella looks like a street walker. I’m embaressed to even look at these dolls! Matel go F yourself!

  28. Hbrhedges says:

Barbiecollector.com doesnt have them listed yet but I know they will eventually. I read somewhere that they will be released in October (If I can find the website again I will post the link). For now I am going to email barbiecollector.com and see if they can give me a release date. I will keep you updated.

    • Hbrhedges says:

I have just found out that they dolls will be released this fall. So keep an eye out for them in stores.

  29. Colleen says:

Wow thats uh….yea thats kind of scary, sorry lol. I love everything twilight but dolls? eh…not so much haha.

  30. Swan says:

It’s Barbie in Bella clothes. LMAO.

  31. lirael cullen says:

    Gross.

  32. Lois Harach says:

This Barbie and Ken set is gorgeous!!!! As soon as I can get my hands on them, you want to believe they will be in my collection. The ‘flash in the pan’ Barbie and Ken sets increase in value the quickest, and this means that when my grand-daughter grows up, these Barbie and Ken sets will be worth a mint. Thank you, Mattel, you’ve done it again…
