Parents Examiner Interviews Gil Birmingham

The newly formed Twilight Parents Examiner had the opportunity to interview Gil Birmingham.
You look like you still work out regularly. What is a typical workout regime for you? Did you ever work out with or have tips for Taylor while he was in the process of muscling up?
I try to get to the gym every day, but as my schedule becomes more hectic, sometimes it’s difficult. Taylor needs no workout tips from me. He worked tremendously hard between Twilight and New Moon to bulk up, and it paid off. I’m impressed by the discipline and commitment that Taylor has to acting and to his work at such a young age. He will have a long and successful career.

This was a fun interview. I loved Gil as Billy, he was pretty funny. And the evil eye he gave Edward was great. I look forward to seeing him in the future movies.
I don’t understand why everyone freaked out about Billy driving. Like he said people in wheelchairs drive around on their own all the time. So thanks for clearing that up for some people Gil.
I really like Gil, he’s very down to earth and insightful as well, like most of the cast. I can really see him as Billy.
I love the fact that Billy drives. I think it’s great that people who can’t do some things can get around those limitations with ease. And the evil eye was awesome. =)
Spoken like a proud “father”! He never has anything but kind and supportive words regarding Taylor and the rest of the cast. Seems like a genuinely lovely man. They certainly cast the right guy to play Billy! What a class act!
