Comments on: The Origins of the Spider Monkey line.

Thank you Jeanne for what you said, just what I think…
And I really hate when people say, Edward would had never said something like this and they get so furious.. come on!! This a movie based on a books, means that the screenplay of such movie is an adaptation of the book, cinematography doesn’t work in the same way that a narrative of a book, specially in the case of this saga where they can’t make the movies based only in one character´s point of view, it would mean that the photography of it would be taken as if we were watching the film through her eyes, the audience would be in the character´s head, that is impossible to construct.. so when you have a book narrated in first person you will have to depart form it and create things that may go away from the initial vision..
Of course I think there are things that could had been changed in the movie and adapted better, but complaining that much for a line, that even as odd as it is, it did work in the context of the movie (because you are not in the context of the book here). I think Robert chose the best of the options given and he delivered that line, showing the playfulness and the happiness the character had at that stage of the story.
What I can complain is CH, talking about this.. she knows the diehard fans of the book hated the line, and she is sort of saying here “it is Rob´s fault”.. she is sort of saying, “Oohh I wrote so many great lines, but Rob chose that one”.. in her delusional mind she did a great job inventing a line there, but the truth is that none of them were good, Rob had to deliver one, because she wanted to have her “great” collaboration to the script, and I think he chose the one that suited the best for that weird scene.. except that so many people complained that now she trying to wash her hands from it.

I wish they had done the blood typing too. I also wish they had put in that part where Edward grabs her after she tells him that she doesn’t find him scary at all and hurtles her into the couch and pins her there not letting her move . That is one of my favorite parts of the book.

I may hold you to that ‘Cause I am writing, and though it will never be as good as Twilight (’cause these are like the wittiest books I’ve read “Yes, heaven forbid I not be protected from tanks”), I want it to be as good as is possible. Huh? There’s nothing to forgive, trust me. I feel bad that you feel bad, lol, so don’t feel bad. (“Then don’t you be unhappy! That’s the only thing that’s wrong here!”)
Oh, how I envy you for being from England! I’d give almost anything to have grown up in an English-speaking country, so I’d know all the commonplace (?) words and sayings, etc. I think I’ve done a pretty good job of learning English, but it’s still not my mother language, and that comes in the way, especially if you want to (or are already) write a book in English. Anyway, wish you all the best of luck! (FYI I’m from Latvia, a little country in northeast Europe)

I feel bad now as I was not trying to sound mean to you! I just thought I would say how some people might be afended by your comment. But like I said before I do agree with what your saying about how people will end up ruining the movie for themselfs as the last thing I would want for myself or others as I/we love it so darn much!
And Im from England so I know a bit about being opinionated.LOL. So dont be too hard on yourself as us Twilight fans all need to stick together!
