Ok I know this is a day late but I was at the 100 Monkeys and have some great footage of that to show you later!! Now on to the actual music poll.
First let me start by saying that there were so many great songs submitted that it was very hard to narrow down which ones to include in the poll itself. Some bands, like Red, Muse, Trading Yesterday, could clearly have more than one song but in all fairness only one was chosen for the list. I do suggest checking out the bands other stuff though because it is great!
So just like last week we have a list of songs with links below and then there is the poll for you to vote in. As always feel free to comment on what you’ve chosen and why. I think it is trcky picking just one Edward song becuase he has such varied emotions in this book so sometimes it helps to know where you think the song fits in order for us to understand it.

I realize I’m adding this a bit late, but my Perfect Edward song would be All that Could Have Been by Nine Inch Nails. I think it totally captures how Edwards feels about himself and Bella during in New Moon. I totally meant to add this way earlier but things came up, but for what it’s worth here it is!
I do like some of the other suggestions though! Great job to everyone for choosing songs! =)
Dashboard Confessionals: “Clean Break” = Perfect break up song.
I don’t know how everyone else feels but…I personally don’t want to hear a random group sing a song that might fit with how Edward feels in New Moon. I think that Feist Near to You works for the movie as a whole, but I think that every other song needs to be especially made for the movie. The only guy I want to hear singing about how Edward feels is Robert Pattinson, and if he doesn’t end up doing it, then they had better pick someone who is really good and will tailor a song for the movie…

I am glad Muse “Sing for Absolution” made it. That song communicates Edwards anguish at the news of Bella’s death so well.

Pieces by Red!! Never heard it before but it is fantastic – so New Moon in many ways. I could so see it when Edward and Bella are reuinited…as they leave Volterra, the plane ride and drive home as they savor every moment of being together again.
I know this is an Edward song poll, but I must also say I could totally see this playing as Bella goes cliff jumping and “sees” Edward in her hallucinations. Great song!!
