We’ve some pictures to share about the extras that were roaming Montepulciano today.
Each one of them was clad in red. Hoods, robes, t-shirt, caps…everything was red!
They couldn’t really say anyhing because the producers have told them that if they were caught they would be expelled from the set and nobody wants to lose the chance to be in the movie.
It’s said that this afternoon there was a little commotion and they think Robert Pattinson was there, but nobody would say that plainly. There are no pictures of him at the airport because he went out through a side exit allowed to the airport staff only.
Today the porsche crew finished working and, from what we understood, tomorrow Robert Pattinson himself will shoot some scene, maybe something related to Edward’s desperation before the Volturi’s verdict.
It won’t be Kristen Stewart to jump in the fountain but hers stunt double, an Italian girl.
Right now, Alan Cappelli, the stunt double for Robert Pattinson is waiting in his car to be called to set. We don’t know though what scene they’ll shoot.
Awesome! I am so, so happy that Michael Sheen is Aro. He’s a fantastic actor! And very attractive. Thank God for Chris Weitz! I wish he would do the last two.
I totally agree! I love Michael Sheen, and I know he’ll bring awesome things to Aro’s character. I also agree about Chris Weitz. Why do they need a different director for each film. It seems like Chris is doing a fantastic job; why mess with success?

why are they using a stunt double for kristen? she just runs through the fountain… right? it’s not really a stunt.
I was wondering that same thing. Why can’t Kristen do it?
I was also thinking about this.It isn’t so hard to jump in a fountain.
I’m kinda upset you reported on the stunt double being used for the fountain scene. That ruins the magic that is movies.
I don’t understand the use for stunt doubles for anything outside for any of the Italy stuff. The need for a Rob double makes zero sense and not sure how taxing running through a fountain would be. But I guess whatever floats their boat.

The need for a fountian double could simply boil down to time and money. Getting Kristen her hair, make up and wardrobe soaking wet and then possibly having to dry her out for another scene could take time they simply don’t have. Insurance is another tricky factor, if she would slip or something even a delay of a few hours could be very costly.
