Pel first wrote this post two year’s ago and we still feel the same way. It’s becoming our Mother’s Day tradition. Only Pel just added the third paragraph. The admin team is pretty much taking the day of to spend with families. Go and hang out with your Moms, there won’t be a lot of news today!
I know that we are all in love with Stephenie’s literary babies, but more importantly, Stephenie is the Mom to three boys. Hats off to Stephenie and to all the Supermoms out out there, today is your day!
From personal experience, as a Mom, like Stephenie, who works outside the home (note I didn’t say working mom, because as any mom can tell you it’s work…period.), it’s hard to balance the “office work” and the “mom work” in a society that is critical of you no matter what your choice.
Kudos, to stay-at-home moms like Alphie, who has two children under six. Stay -at home-moms (SAHM) sacrifice all kinds of things to make sure kids are successful a their first dance recitals, put up with cranky after and before nap behavior, and run a household pretty much single-handedly better than a corporate CEO with a fleet of paid support staff.
Special shout out to all the single Moms. In the past year I have a whole new respect for the ladies who do it on their own because life has left them (for whatever reason) with no other choice. The manage all the above and have no one to depend on but themselves. Round of applause and my deepest admiration for you ladies.
Moms of every type need to be cut a break, because let’s face it, without us none of you would be here! So, make your mom’s day and tell her “thanks”, and if you really want to make it special tell her thanks next Sunday too.

Happy Mothers Day to you too!!! I am a stay at home mom & I homeschool my 2 sons, ages 14 & 6.
Happy Mother’s Day!
I know you won’t see this but…
I made my mom in Bed Breakfast (Though I do this occasionally) and bought a handmade throw-over.
I love you mom and Grandma too.
Thanks girls! I am a newly single mom and very much apprecite that paragraph for those of us doing it on our own! I have 3 children under the age of 6, so it’s a lot of work, but hopefully one day they will all take me out on Mother’s Day
.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
I always found it cute how SM remembered the exact date of her dream coz it was the date her kids started swim lessons. What a great mum, Happy Mothers Day to her and all the other Twimoms out there.
I also thought it was interesting that this was how she remembered the exact day!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you mom’s! Have a great day.
thanks and back at you! mine are grown now but i was also a single mom- its tough but way worth it.
and yes kerri, someday they will be taking you to red lobster! ha ha hang in girl.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE!
happy mothers day! I’m a 14-yr-old NOT mother(unless you count my cat, who thinks I’m her mother), but my mom raises my sister and I alone, since we were both under 6 years old. And my grandma, she’s amazing, because she raised her 3 children and had a job, while my grandpa did too, and she found a way to be an uneducated immigrant who lives perfectly well here. I hope I can live up to both of them when I”m a mom, in 8 or more years.
go stephenie! Happy Mothers’ Day!
Happy Mother’s Day everyone! I am an expecting mom to be
. She’s due in October and I’m trying to convince my husband to name her with something Twilight related
.
You should totally name her “Isabella.” It’s a beautiful name.
My mother is having a son and I can’t, for teh life of me, convince her to names him Something Twilight related too. I’ve even pulled out small character names from BD like Stephan and Benjamin. She won’t budge.:(
DOn’t you think you’re hyperbolizing a bit?
Just remember Quil: He’s really NOT happy with his soap opera -releated name… There IS a possibility youre kids won’t like Twilight…I mean, twilight IS important but you shouldn’t choose a name like this…
True, but a common name of a minor character doesn’t scream TWILIGHT OBESSED!! Like Ben or such. There are some names that scream “typecast” and some that don’t.
I’m one of five children and my mom homeschools all of us as well as taking us to all the music lessons, soccer games, drama rehearsals, etc.
I have no idea how she keeps her mind.
Hats off to all the moms today!
Thank the Lord for moms. I’m one of ELEVEN!!! and my mom has done everything for us. Nine of us still live at home and there are 5 under ten.
A definite Kudos to all moms!
Happy mother’s day

Sorry,if I ever caused you pain,Mom.
And thanks for everything you do for me.
Love you!
Thanks for the mother’s day thought. Single mom of a 16yr girl & 12yr boy. Very busy life with not alot of extra time or money. Twilight books have brought us all closed together. While friends vacationed to Mexico/Hawaii, etc., we took a quick, less expensive trip to Long Beach, Vancouver Island to spend some time together and checkout where the filming for New Moon took place. Probably wouldnt have done the trip if we hadnt had read the books. We had such a wonderful time. Thanks Twilight!
We all had to obey Mum yesterday and cook her whatever she wanted
It’s good to have a day to appreciate all mums, especially when you go out to brunch. Yum!
i celebrated mothers day back in march… it’s weird that different countries celebrate it months apart.
oh well happy mothers day for everyone who celebrated it yesterday!
KATE, YOUR VACATION SOUNDED AWESOME. THE KIDS WILL REMEMBER IT FOREVER. I WAS A SINGLE MOM WHO’S CHILD LOVED ‘NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK’. IF THEY WERE WITHIN 300 MILES I TOOK HER. EVEN IF IT MEANT GETTING IN 20 MINUTES BEFORE SCHOOL OR WORK THE NEXT DAY. THAT WAS THE RULE- YOU PLAY YOU PAY. THOSE MEMORIES ARE SOME OF HER MOST PRECIOUS TO THIS DAY. SHE NEVER BALKED ABOUT SCHOOL, AND WE LAUGHED TILL WE DROPPED. SOUNDS LIKE YOU KNOW WHATS IMPORTANT. THESE BOOKS ARE WHATS HOOKING US THESE DAYS. UNFORTUNATELY VANCOUVER JUST TO FAR FOR ROAD TRIP! HA HA
happy moms day
Happy Mother’s Day to all.~.*
