The New Moon and Eclipse casts plus Stephenie Meyer and David Slade all met at a Vancounver restaurant whose location was broadcast on Twitter almost as soon as they arrived by Canadian gossip columnist Lainey.

She was really sweet and was worried about looking tired after the long night, but I’m sure you’ll agree she looks amazing. Stephenie had a bright blood red purse that was totally Twilight appropriate.”

Question: According to Vacinityallie, they were speculating that scripts were handed out for Eclipse at the party because most of the cast members (like Michael Sheen) were carrying messenger bags and had manuscripts. However, Aro isn’t in Eclipse, so it wouldn’t make sense for Michael Sheen to be carrying a messenger bag for a script, right? Or do you think they’ll add all the Volturi to Eclipse? Probably, huh? I have a hard time believing it was the script though because Melissa and David just barely met to discuss it 2 days ago. I doubt the script is even final yet.
Also, I wonder why Rachelle was at the party. It seemed to me like the party was mostly for the Volturi and those who were in the Volterra scene. Victoria wouldn’t be in that scene, would she? Dakota and Rachelle also looked quite close as they walked around Vancouver. I am straining my brain to remember, but were there any scenes in New Moon that Jane and Victoria would have even been in together? I don’t think so. I wonder how they met and became friends…
The nearest Victoria and Jane ever get to meeting is in Eclipse. But that’s technically not meeting- Victoria has literally just been killed by the time the Volturi turn up.
But I just imagine they made friends anyway.
Taylor didn’t have any scenes with Rachelle, Cam, or Edi, yet they were super tight. So just because you aren’t in a scene physically with someone doesn’t mean you can’t bond doing a film.
As well, Rachelle is in the film, so natch she would be meeting the director. I’m happy that she will be staying.
@Carly; Rachelle is from Canada, so she might have been just hanging around because she wanted to meet everybody. I’m not sure about the Volturi thing, but I know that Melissa might already have the script finalized, since they start in August anyway. Of course, just my opinion.

That’s terrible that Lainey told everyone where they were. I think she’s awful.
I agree that they should leave the cast alone, but I’m also proud of Steph for taking that picture and signing books, even though she probably didn’t want to. She’s a strong woman, and a strong mother.
I think its cool them hanging out, I would want 2 make as many friends as possible & really enjoy the experience, If u can’t have fun with what U do then Y do it!

1. Who cares if they spelled Eclipse wrong and there is no date on the page? Don’t get so picky, just enjoy the site.
2. They said that they had the Eclipse cast there, so does that mean they found someone to play Riley,Leah and Seth? Did I miss that?

is it possible (sincethis was in may and thats when nm was filmed) .. that they were meeting for new moon? i think thats the most likely reason for rachell and the guy playing aro, were there
I really doubt that pattison and kristens characters would be played by different people its 2 big of a change and 2 far n the series
