How come Taylor has to be buff as Jacob, but nobody else? Sam is almost as tall as Jacob and buff too. They are the two largest. Bronson can’t play Sam. He looks even younger. Must be cast as someone else.

He deserves the part.
He seemed really dedicated and talented at the interview, and his acting, however small a part it was, in Twilight was real and professional.
At least give him some part in the sequels…!

I like Solomon as Sam. He need a seriuos hair cut to fit the part though.

I agree with most people, I mean there’s online petitions & everything like that in the hopes that Solomon gets to keep his role as Sam in New Moon. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Solomon should stay as Sam. In just reading his latest interview here, you can see his passion and maturity. I would love to see what he can bring to this part on the screen. I can not see why he can not have the chance to advance the character, it’s not like he would be top billing.
Please, KEEP SOLOMON AS SAM!

I met Solomon at The Host book signing in Portland. He seemed really nice. I admire all the work he put into connecting to such a small part in the movie. I hope he gets any part in New Moon… even if not Sam he could be another wolf?? Just because he really did put so much into it I’d love to see him continue…

Oh man I HATED the way James said that in the ballet studio! So cheesy!!! God and the way he was always cocking his head to the side. Couldn’t STAND it! I like Solomon, I hope he gets to reprise his role. And Krys too.

Actually i think the worst line in the movie was “Your faster than the others,but not stronger.”by James.Maybe it was just the way he said the line. Stil it bugged me. I hate that part.haha
Anyways..I like the way Sam said”The Cullens dont come here”to me it seemed real and like i was really there observing. Thats what i like about it. I hope he plays Sam in N.M

The one line he delivered “The Cullens don’t come here” was the worse acted line in the movie. I’m sorry to say that because he seems like a nice guy. But, his lack of acting experience was VERY apparent.

When they rolled the movie credits, I watched to his name along with Quil’s character. And I believe it just said he was Jacob’s friend and didn’t actually list him as “Sam”. So I think they left it open to change later. I found movie credits listed on NY Times’ website at this link http://movies.nytimes.com/movie/443855/Twilight/cast

I am hoping they get someone new to play Sam!
