All you have to do is write an essay on which character you like most: Edward or Jacob? Then send your essay to contest@edwardvjacob.com. Keep it short, less than 100 words.
The essays will be judged on quality and style. The 1st place winner will win a new Twilight DVD, and 2nd and 3rd place will receive a $10 dollar gift certificate to Hot Topic!

I agree with Lissette. I would totally write a little essay, but I would never win, because no one wants Jacob. If you can’t vote more than once, that’s just sad. There’s no way Jacob can win the contest.
I’m with Therealmsrwithlock85, but my fav character is Emmet the teddy bear!!! Can i write about him?? I mean, Eddy is totally gorgeous, but Emmet…. Oh!!! Emmet is just EMMET!! GO TEAM EMMET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is barely a contest for Edward vs Jacob. In all honesty with the way their doing this it should just be renamed “Why do you love Edward Cullen Contest”
After see the rules, will there be any Team Jacob participating at all? Cause this just looks like it’s discouraging to Team Jacob Fans.

amie, I don’t think this site is safe. When I casted my vote, they asked for my email and for me to fill out various offers. They called it “rewards”. It’s a scam.

Jacob is pure awesomeness…Edward is a stalking, overprotective, lying, controling, personality-less guy who isolates Bella from the rest of the world…Jacob has flaws, but that’s one of the main reasons I luv him…I like immaturity and how he’s annoying sometimes…

I agree with some of the people above me. Everyone knows that more than 90% of the fans like Edward better, this question has been asked many times before.

I’ve read your concerns, and I’ve contacted Edward v Jacob so I can answer your questions better.
The owner of http://www.edwardvjacob.com says that he is actually in a partnership with the site he’s using for the Twilight Collector’s book-set contest. He says that site is safe, and that you don’t need to buy anything you don’t want to. It’s just a survey advertising products from their sponsors.
About the “Edward has no chance, ’cause there are more Edward fans than Jacob fans” that’s not entirely true. As impossible as it seems, it turns out that the votes are almost even so far. Jacob still has a chance!

The votes may be even so far, but the reality is is that an Edward Fan is going to win. If some team Jacob Fan wins that would be a Miracle.
I don’t see how it’s fair to either team to have the essays they took their time, effort, and heart to write get thrown out without even being looked at.
