Yahoo news has an article discussing the upcoming filming of New Moon including some of the characters they are looking to cast. As well as some casting rumors that can be put to rest.
Intoxicting Scent has some photos in their gallery of Jackson Rathbone and his band 100 Monkeys. The photos were snapped at a recent appearance in LA.

I think some of you guys need to lighten up. Leah doesn’t have a much of a part till the last book anyways, so if one of them were cast what would it even matter? After the whole Taylor vs Michael fiasco, my worst fears and struggle with the cast is over. I am fine with whatever after this, as long as Tay stays.
Those Disney chicks wouldn’t be the best, but it’s not the end of the world. I don’t get the big deal.
And it’s not that bad to have an action figure of yourself made. My cousins is Cody Linley and he has an action figure made of himself from his role on Hannah Montanna and it’s pretty cool. It’s weird… but not traumatizing or anything. He barely notices.

who gives a frack if disney characters are casted? I don’t htink disney ruins movies, they come out with great oes from time to time. I’m not saying they’re the best, some movies can be bad. But lighten the hell up. They’re just normal human beings anyways. If those girls can play the part, then be done with the nagging
i think Brenda might look the part of emily young,or maybe even leah but i don’t know about her acting ability.And as for Vanessa or Selena ?
I shudder at the thought.
Edward figurines are already available. Everyone get them somewhere cheaper…
Anyway, if they cast a Disney into the movie, I might just attack the casting people.
If bloody Vanessa Hudgens gets casts for twilight…
that would seriously and utterly ruin the whole movie. Im sorry, but i dont like HSM, and im not a fan of Disney.
So…lets forget about what might make the movie popular, and start getting some serious actors in their to portray their characters.
…i really dont want Vanessa to start singing randomly in the middle of the movie, that would creep me out
