Although there is no official date after getting conflicting dates, the US releasae to DVD is March 21 for Twilight on DVD we do have the official cover art released by Summit.

I am uberly excited for it to come out…even though it the movie wasnt all it should have been, they let out many important details and they could have picked a better cast for some o fthe characters; I still thought it was pretty good and cant wait to get my own copy…if need be nesseceary I will campout at walmart or some store so I am the first one to get a DVD!

i wish they used new pictures for the cover. i mean, seriously, is it THAT hard to wrangle up their cast for a photo shoot or two? if i hadn’t already seen that picture on 394,580,923,761 shirts, pins, posters, website headers, etc, it might have been alright, but come on, i have that picture on my wall. BORING!
i would have liked something cooler, like, a matte black over, with a satin emboss negative image of Rob and Kristen along with those swirly vine things the marketing team is so fond of putting on all the merchandise (so it would have been subtle and not what you see at first) with TWILIGHT written across it in silver GLITTER (why is there no glitter on this cover!), and a red apple on the spine, with a “#1” in it, since it would be the first film in a series.
that’s just what i’m saying.

Pepper, seriously stfu! Just shut up. If you’re so cool at having all these ideas, use it wisely, and get a job at it. Name me a movie in cinema that is NOT the same cover for the DVD? Gawd. And as if they hadn’t had enough photoshoots? Oh yeah, ‘Twilight’ would be lovely wrote in glitter, when thats not even the font or colour its supposed to be. Its suppose to have the same logo and cover. So people can recognise it.

there releasing the twilight movie on dvd on march 21st not valintines day march 21st which i think is cool because it going to be out just in time for easter. and people who keep saying that they should of casted other people for twilight need to get over it chose who they chose and people don’t like it then they don’t have to but stop grovling about and get on with your lives.
I find that picture of Rob REALLY scary. I hope they change the cover art for the UK. Not all of it, just that angle of Rob!

Pepper; this is a very normal cover. *If* a special edition comes out (think the beautiful LOTR extended editions) it will probably be much more elegant.

Ok although I am excited about the release date being out, I think it’s wrong b/c movies usually come out on Tuesday’s March 21 is a Saturday, so it is either a typo or wow, that’s weird. Oh, well I don’t care I’ll just buy it on whichever day it is out whether I’m at school or at home, Either one, doesn’t matter.

Forgive me for being tired of seeing the same picture of Rob and Kristen on every peace of merchandise and wanting something different. Not more, just different. I did not realize a classic black cover with embossed and subtle imagery, and some pretty glitter font would be SO offensive to you.

It’s gorgeous!! I thought the DVD was going to have the same cover art as the soundtrack, or that maybe they’d use the 2nd movie poster. Maybe the different editions will have different cover art?? I normally don’t buy 2- or 3-disc DVD sets, but I will for “Twilight”. I love the different shades of blue on this cover and the fact that the Nomads are also on it. Love it!!!

Hey maybe since it is being released on March 21st thats when they r going to start filming New Moon. Because it being released on a Saturday just doesn’t make any sense unless something is happening that day. Anyone agree with me? Any other ideas?
