Congrats to Christopher Paolini and his Inheritance series books. They are the first to knock the Twilight Saga to the number 2 position in the NY Times Best Seller list. If you haven’t read they books pick them up, they are a great read especially if you are into dragons.

Suck to be me is about a girl who has to choose if she wants to a vampire along with her family. Its pretty hilarious. And I laughed out loud at the sentence that mentioned Stephenie.

I got Brisingr (I paid for half, and my brother paid for half), but my bro’s reading it first :\ He takes foreverrrr, I think he’s not even halfway through yet. It’s annoying. So I’m spending the time waiting by reading the first two books in the series. I’d forgotten how boring and drawn-out they were.
Though, like Robin McKinley and Sharon Shinn, the story is good. And it’s not as badly boring as Allison Croggon *shiver* I couldn’t get past chapter seven of that book.
God, I’m so ADD today.

Eh. You read one book about a boy and his dragon and you’ve read them all. I’ve tried–I’ve really tried–to get into the Inheritance books, but they just don’t do it for me. To each his (or her) own.
i do have to say the paolini’s books steal everything from character names to place names to plot points from lord of the rings and star wars, but they’re still relatively entertaining. there are definitely less deserving series than the inheritance cycle to take twilight’s place.
How cool is the shout out from Pauley? And since you say Edward rocks and Steph is the queen I believe you have exquisite taste and will definitely check out your book

Wowwwww…. I tried reading Eragon a while back, but ended up closing the book after a minute!!! I guess I better try reading his books, but not UNTIL I READ STEPHENIE’s

Brisgnr is about 200 pages heavy the book is okay but he has too much politics in it and I don’t mean ours. He also blows the chance to expand the love story. Overall worst book of the series I hope he makes it up to us with the fourth.

I know all of us here luv Twilight but don’t diss Brisingr just because u like Twilight better! I love Twilight but that doesn’t mean I don’t like other books 2. I’m kinda disappointed that It nocked the Twilight series down 2 but it was goin 2 happen eventually so who cares?
