Twilight Coven Philippines is reporting that they will also get the Twilight movie on November 20th. Which we think (international fans correct us if we are wrong) would put the release roughly equal with the USA/Canada release once you take the international dateline into account.
To give an overview of release dates, that would now mean:

Please keep the Brazilian fans posted about the release date in Brazil! We’d heard it would be on Dec. 25 before the release date in US was rescheduled… So we are not sure if the release can be anticipated here in Brazil too. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I’m ecstatic that Twilight will be shown here in the Philippines Nov.20 instead of the original January! That’s like the best news I’ve had in weeks!:)

I’m from the Philippines and from what I know (and from what the Lexicon has already stated), USA and the Philippines only have the same day about the release of Twilight because in Phil., we’re like one day ahead, but we’re still equal. So yeah.
But can’t wait though!
And oh yeah, we’re really not ahead. Okay? The Date has changed, yes, but, if you look into it, it’s the same day.

Before the movie was moved up it was going to come out on Dec. 12 here in korea the same time it did in the states…..>_< gosh i so wish they would also move the korea date up *crosses fingers*
Re Allison: it’s not the same day… it’ll be released in the philippines on the 20th, that means in the US it’s the 19th… it’ll be showing there for 2 days before it opens here in the US. that’s because of the time difference (international date line and all), i should know… i have family there. AND it happens often that the philippines get major movies released there first, for example, spider man, some HP movies etc. it’s quite normal.

Australia’s release date is the 11th…. it wouldn’t be the 12th because thats a Friday and in Australia films open on Thursday, not Fridays… besides all the commerical cinemas are advertising it as the 11th of December… did anyone catch the Today show this morning? Actually, the Philippines being a day advanced from the US, it’s pretty much gonna be Nov. 19th there while it’s Nov. 20th here.
In order to help you getting all relevant informations about Twilight movie, we would like to refresh your overview of release dates with next information: Twilight movie will be realised in Serbia on the 18th of december! YEAH!
It’s just a 12 hour difference with the Philippines and the US, so if its 8pm in the Philippines of the 20th, it would be roughly around 6am or 8am in the states of the 20th. So we do technically get it 1 day ahead? Was that correct?

Two months from USA to Germany will lead to a LOT of people watching it illegaly because they can’t wait for it. Would be kind of stupid since (imo) many of those people are not gonna go see it in theatres, then. So can it possibly be that these dates are final?
Yup, it looks like the Philippines will be the first or one of the first countries to watch Twilight! It will be the 19th in the US when the movie opens in Manila. Thursdays are when theaters change movies in Manila, so that probably accounts for the slightly earlier date. Well, we got The Host some two weeks earlier than the US too.

Oh, sure. So the Harry Potter release date is INTERNATIONAL even though its a British film, but Twilight isn’t out till 2009 for the British?? That’s a load of rubbish. I mean, HELLO? Robert Pattinson is British. EDWARD is British!! There is something very wrong here.
