Twilight Coven Philippines is reporting that they will also get the Twilight movie on November 20th. Which we think (international fans correct us if we are wrong) would put the release roughly equal with the USA/Canada release once you take the international dateline into account.
To give an overview of release dates, that would now mean:

If it is released on the 20th in the Philippines that means it would be released two days ahead of the U.S. They would have first showing. (The 20th in the Philippines would mean it was only the 19th in the U.S.)

I love the interview with Peter! He seems so nice! One thing I’ve noticed is how wonderfully things work out because it seems some of the cast almost didn’t quite make it!! In the interview with Kellan that was post the other day he said he got a call when the first actor fell through and now Peter said the same thing for himself. Fate is an interesting thing because I don’t think I can ever picture anyone else playing any of these characters!!

I’m from Ireland meaning that I have to wait until January for the movie. How come they snapped up the Harry Potter slot (which from what heard was an international release date or close to it) and have the dates split over 4 months? I’m going to New York in Februaury and it would probably be on DVD by then over in the US.

My two most favouritist book series movies were supposed to be out at the end of 2008, then HP news of a later release crushed a part of my happy anticipation but I still had Twilight which I was so unbelieveably excited about it also made up for HP absence, But now I have to wait till next year….tear tear sniff sniff. Actually, Philippines is about 16 hours ahead of where I am right now (US Pacific), so that would put them ALMOST TWO DAYS ahead of us.

Uh…I just returned from Asia and they are ahead of the U.S. by more than half a day. Which means…
If the movie is released in the Philippines on Nov. 20, it would be Nov. 19th for the U.S when its release there! It will be released there almost 2 days before in the U.S.
The International dateline is on the West side of Hawaii…meaning the U.S is always the last ones ending the day while the rest of the work is already on the next… Just lettin ya’ll know!

The Australian release date is actually the 11th of December [Thursday], which from a USA point of view is the 10th.
