Premiere Magazine has a new interview with Kristin Stewart.
The UK edition of the Times has a write up/review of the Twilight saga.
The public library in Pembroke, Massachusetts is holding a trivia contest on the Twilight Saga. The winner will receive a free copy of Breaking Dawn.
And lastly, Stephenie updated her MySpace blog with a few comments about the movie date being changed. This is reposted with permission.
Just a few things about the new release Nov. 21st release date for Twilight:1) I have no idea how this affects international release dates. I’m not exactly in the loop on those kinds of things. Hopefully that information will be available soon. I’ll see what I can find out…
2) I’m really, really sorry for any inconvenience the new schedule is causing people. I feel your pain. Let’s just say that my Thanksgiving plans are going through a major overhaul, too.
3) Looking on the bright side, this new release date means that Twilight will get to be on more screens–a lot more. That might mean a shorter drive for some people.

Carla: I think you are completely right. And you don’t sound like a ”little know-it-all”. That’s why I love Kristen, too. Because she’s shy and quiet like Bella, but most importantly because she’s HERSELF. I really think she’s the perfect Bella. Love ya, Kristen!!!!!
#49 Its a shame you are not the author, what a shame you’re not the one writing the books. It sounds like you believe you can do a much better job.
Maybe you could, but those are SM books and she ended them the way she envisioned them. Maybe you should get inspired and write your own series (I’m not trying to be sarcastic, I’m being 100% serious) you never know?? you might come up with a very good story line? You’ll never know if you don’t try.
But, this story is SM and its the world she created. To be honest with you, I didn’t like New Moon that much, but I didn’t go around having a baby fit, holding my breath, kicking and screaming and being mean to SM and every person who loved New Moon. I loved all the books SM has written, I just liked some more than others, but that doesn’t give me the right to trash SM just because one of her books didn’t go exactly “MY WAY”.
But, to the people who think the ending should have been different, I say they should try being a writer. Try writing something and try making thousands of people happy at the same time. Not the easiest thing… Just my opinion…
OK, I’ll be quiet for the next 2 days or so since we are waiting for Tropical Storm Fay here in Florida and I’m not sure if We’ll have power tomorrow. So, you guys will have a nice break from me, LOL.
Talk to you guys on the other side of the storm.
Hay guys, new around here. I must say a few things. One BD was not my personal fav, but I had trouble writing a 15 pg paper in college, so she has me beat there! I say if you do not want to crush SM, and you dont want to create a writers block! Then back down the really harsh comments, I got oppions of my own, but try to knock it down a peg! Give a chance to for her to learn what is over the top for her majority public, and she will write to it, or earn a new majority public.
So in short, my fav, no… I will read it 3-4 times instead of 8-9!
Two, I am really disapointed about the movie being moved up. My SD who will be 13 on Dec 13th was having a movie party on her b-day… and now her friends will have all seen the movie by the time her already booked theater will come around. (and no, I am not the one planning it, but I feel so bad for her!) I have never seen a movie pulled up before, plunty pulled back like HP. I guess I would be happy if it did not break a 12 yrs heart!
I am excited that the movie is being released earlier. For “Older Twilighter,” take the kids to see the movie a second time if they’ve all already seen it. My guess is that they won’t be broken hearted… if they are true Twilight fans they will probably want to see the movie repeat times anyway. I know that I will!
I love Breaking Dawn and am happy with how the different plot twists ended up. It was nice, for a change, to have a novel ending with the couple together… in tact… as opposed to one of them being killed (read Nicholas Sparks, for example… lots of sad endings even though he is a great author). I like how Jacob tried to help Bella by breaking it to Charlie that things with Bella are a little different after her wedding. I also liked how Bella wasn’t the typical out-of-control newborn.
Stephenie’s writing is excellent in Breaking Dawn, just as in her other books. I hope the crazy feedback from those who didn’t like the book won’t dissuade her from writing more. I loved The Host and am looking forward to more in that story as well as Midnight Sun.
…sorry for such a long post…
Thanks Beth, I am sure they will love to see it a 2nd time. It just takes the punch out of it. The money would not have been spent 3 weeks after it was released. (you have to have at least 20 tickets at 8 bucks a piece the way her Mom did it) For my SD It was just the cool excitement of being able to pull off that your real birthday was the most popular movie release date, and you got to take your friends… ya know?
I will call her and see how she is doing, or if they are going to change plans.
Thanks Oldertwilightlover

in case you didn’t read the other post i wrote before the one you responded to, i said i thought breaking dawn was ok. i was not complaining about how it ended. i did not say anything bad about s.m.
i was merely commenting on how everyone talks about how breaking dawn was where the twilight series was heading, sounding like other ways was just not possible and even ridiculous, but not really able to explain why that is the case. so far no one was really able to give me a specific answer, just circular explanations or no explanation at all (e.g., tying up loose ends, restating that the story was headed that way). i was just curious as to why most everyone agrees that’s where the story was heading, but it’s sounding like no one really knows either.
i think that critism of the book is ok as long as it is constructive. i mean it is harsh some of the stuff that people have been saying and SM has obviously taken it to heart. we need to cheer her up. i love the idea of a scrapbook, we could get everyone who comes on here to comment and tell SM that she still has loads of loyal fans, and to forget what all the haters are saying.
