In the News

Believe it or not, there have been other things going on around the fandom besides Comic-Con. So here is the (non-Comic-con related) News from around the fandom.

Entertainment Weekly has an interesting offer. If you buy a subscription you can get four free issues – including the Twilight Issue.

The Associated Press has USA Today’s list of Best Sellers — with Stephenie grabbing the 1, 3,5, and 14th spots.

Wicked Local has a list of some fun summer reads.

Islandpacket.com has a fun little introductory to the world of Twilight.

Rocky Mountail News has an article about the challenge that the Breaking Dawn Midnight Release poses to Booksellers.

The birthday boy — aka Mike Wlech — has a short but absolutely hysterical interview over on Bellaandedward.com. Well worth checking out.

Manila Bulletin Online (Philippines) has an indepth article about the Twilight Saga.

Gulf Coasting Live.com has an article about what to do when the summer heat is just too much. (A Summer Reading list you might want to check out)

The Pioneer Local asks the question: Edward vs. Jake?

Novel Novice Twilight has announced that they will be covering Breaking Dawn Midnight Release parties from around the globe!

Novel Novice Twilight presents complete coverage of Breaking Dawn release parties from around the globe!

One of Novel Novice Twilight’s goals is to explore the relationship between fans and these books. What better way to do that, then at midnight release parties for Breaking Dawn.

We are asking our staff members and fellow fans to snap photos of themselves, friends and other fans at the Breaking Dawn release party they attend. We have also made print-at-home fliers for fans to hand out at the parties, explaining our project – and where fans can go to see their photos online (Novel Novice Twilight, of course).

Then, fans can send in their photos and we’ll upload pictures and videos showing readers at Breaking Dawn parties all across the country.

This is a great way for fans to connect, no matter where they live. And we’d like your support. Please tell your readers about Novel Novice Twilight’s Breaking Dawn project. Send them here: http://twilightnovelnovice.com/2008/07/24/were-going-global/ so they can get more information and participate.

Thanks for your support!
