Lemme break it down for ya.
Bella: “Oh, Mike! How will I go on?â€
Oh – Oh sounds exactly like O, and O is used to express that you are shocked on the internet. Bella is shocked.
Mike – Mike’s last name is Newton, and there are cookies called Fig Newtons, so there are cookies around.
how – How is in the word chow. And chow is in the word chowder. Yum, soup!
will – When someone dies, they usually leave a will stating who they give their belongings to. So Bella gets something.
I – Bella
go – People usually say Go in races, like ready, set, go, so there is a race.
on – On is No backwards, and no sounds like know. She knows something.
And now when we put it all together… the real meaning is revealed! xD
Bella: Ohmigosh, Mike! I’m so shocked! You totally ate my Fig Newtons! I feel worse than James! You didn’t even save me any chowder, either! You should at least give me your shampoo, ever since Eclipse your hair has been really hot. I think I’m going to get my boyfriend, he will know what to do with you!
But in all seriousness, I can totally see Bella being all Scarlett O’Hara and pretending to be dramatic. He probably invited her on a date or something.
LOL! i love his quote! I was expecting something more… but i still LOVE this one! There is definently sarcasm. I think it has to do soemthing like this:
Mike: So, well, I’ve been thinking. You know, about the colloage thing and stuff. And I just wanted to say that, I’m sorry Bella, I’m going to *insert colloage name here*. And i dont think ill see you again.
Bella: OH mike!How will i go on

I don’t think Bella will actually say this to Mike’s face, as the sarcasm seems a bit too mean, especially since she probably wont see him much more. Unless she breaks two legs, and Edward is off hunting, and Mike finds her or something like that. Which is also highly unlikely.
More likely, I think that it will be a comment made when someone in the Cullen family teases her about leaving Mike behind desolate and heartbroken.

Hmm… Maybe he’s dancing with Bella at hers and Edward’s wedding reception and he said something to her, that made her say that line sarcastically? Haha, I have no idea…. =P
I think it’ll be like this:
Mike: Bella, i’m sorry but i can’t go to your wedding.
Bella: Oh Mike! How will I go on?
And he’ll give some lame reason why he can’t go but it’s really because he still has feelings for her. She, of course, is happy about one less person attending the wedding. By the way, I am loving the sarcasm.
Wouldn’t it be crazy if Mike suddenly guesses right about Edward and tells Bella that he think he’s a vampire?!?!!?! Then the quote is Bella tring to hidet he fact that its true?!?!?
Yeah probably wont happen, but fun to think about
Ome! I hope she was being sarcastic!!! Maybe she’s upset about something…and Mike just happened to be there (seeing that he’s always there XD). But she was probably being sarcastic about him saying something about the Cullen family that she already knew…
Like my theory from above the converstaion will go along the lines of this…
Mike: What if Edward is a vampire!?
Bella: What? A vampire! Oh, Mike! How will I go on? Living with a vapire, he’ll try to kill me!

I think it’s a response to something Edward has said to her in relation to all the guys she’ll be missing out on now that she’s marrying him.

I think this quote is cute!
Maybe Bella is like telling this to Mike and she wants him to think shes being serious to explain something that she already knew about to be able to cover up the years of not telling people the truth about her and her non human relationship with the Cullens. Example:
Just a two in the morning thought…
Mike: Oh my GOD! Your fiance sparkles!!! He isn’t human!!!
Bella: Oh your right!!! Oh Mike! How will I go on?? *snicker*
Mike: Marry me and we can have non monsterish babies!!
Alice then puts a bag over his head and dumps him the ocean… while the family laughs.
is there a way we would have to click to read the quotes of the day? I still want to get my twilight news from here, but i’m one of the few that doesn’t want the quotes before the book comes out…
Instead of trying to break down the quote to find it’s hidden meaning, I’ve evolved the quote. Here we go!

I don’t know why, but ever since I moved from Forks, I’ve been feeling… empty. I’m like a half finished jelly donut, just lying there forgotten, my yummy goodness that made me Me outside my body. And it’s weird, cause I’ve seen all my friends… except for one. Mike Newton.
I didn’t want to make Edward feel sad AGAIN, since that’s all I do, is whine, complain, and wallow in my selfish misery.
But it wasn’t working out.
“Oh, Mike! How will I go on?” I wailed into Edward’s chest. His godly, marble chest. Which I love for it’s godlyness. And marblelyness.
“Don’t worry. He will visit you!” Edward always said.
But he didn’t come.
It wasn’t until Alice was watching High School Musical that she came up with a brilliant idea.
“I’ve got it!” she said. “Mike Newton: The Musical! It can be like a giant interpretive dance or something, asking for Mike to come visit us! It’s a musical adventure! We’re going on an adventure, Bella!”

I’ll feel kind of sad in that fangirly way, though, if that happens. Hmm.
Hmm.. Maybe Bella decides that Mike is so much cooler than Edward or Jacob, and she decides to dump Edward. Then she goes up to Mike and says ‘MIKE! I LOVE YOU!’ and Mike says ‘Sorry, Bella, but me and Jacob are sorta together now.’ and Bella says ‘Oh Mike! How will I go on?’

Conclusion:
I think Isabella Swan is surprised because Micheal Jackson has showed up and he is asking her how she is and she is telling him how she was turned on by Will Smith in Shark Tale and now she is going off to look for him.
