This quote is really funny, as well as yesterdays. I liked yesterdays better, though. Its obviously Bella being sarcastic… I think its when Mike pulls his Wedding Crashers moments and disrupts the wedding right before Edward kills him. Its probably. Edward “Any last words, Mike?” Mike: “Oh save me Bella, I love you!” "Bella: “Oh, Mike! How will I go on?”" I also have a question about the boards closing tomorrow. Are the forums just going to be locked, or are they actually going to be taken down?

yay mike!! i was afraid he was going to disappear since bella kind of turned him down… again. this could possibly be taking place at the wedding, since mike doesn’t really have much of a reason to speak to bella anymore after they’ve graduated high school. and it’s in a playful tone, so yay!! this makes me giddy.
Mike is also getting married, and bella has just realized she wants him more than she wants jake or Edward, and she’d devestated because he’s moving on.
OH! This ones going to be fun!! LOL!
When I first read it, I was imagining Bella being all dramatic. Then I realized it was probably sarcastic. I can’t wait to see the context that quote is in.

So happy, I actually didn’t think much. Yeah, she’s obviously sarcastic. Perhaps she gets fired from her job after a fight. Perhaps Mike is jealous since Bella’s getting marrie and fires her. That could happen, right?
(too bad for bella, though XD)
Or maybe this is right before she goes in to her wedding and Mike, being the good friend that he is, just so happens to be there for support. But the sarcasm is most likely though.

what if mike has done something that he thought was a shoe-in to destroy the wedding, like… sabotaged the cake (that is probably one of alice’s exquisite and over-the-top creations) only to find bella uncaring since she’s immune to alice’s frou-frouness anyway?? ha this quote is hilarious.

I think this would be a scene where Bella would just want 2 talk 2 Mike and she has all these people staring and talking about her because she’s gettig married at such a young age. So Bella just tells Mike bieng sarcastic: “Oh,Mike! How will I go on?”

sarcasm anyone? im happy mike hasnt fallen off the end of the earth and that he is still in the story. i hope he doesnt crash the wedding, but i doubt that the wedding will go off without a hitch, so i wouldnt be surprised. i just hope its mike rather thatn jacob, that way bella doesnt have “conflicting feelings”… its going to be an awsome book!

sorry for the multiple comments; i keep thinking of random things as i go…:
responding to Dpw10: that would be bad… what if jacob happened to show up moments before the wedding was actually finished and bella had to “decide” all over again, even though she’s already decided. or she’ll have a relapse in judgement and think that she wants jake, or at least make edward wait around for her to choose him (edward)… again. oh goodness.
Perhaps she was aggravated at Edward and Mike, so she just decided to get both of them with one blow? She flirted with Mike and then “insert quote”. Since Mike doesn’t catch even the boldest hints he wouldn’t notice the sarcasm, and Edward would be unhappy that she was giving Mike hope.
Stephenie meyer stated at a book signing i think that Jacob isnt in breaking dawn so we wont have to worry about him ruining the wedding. and then theres mike… lol he doesnt have a chance

I did like the idea of Bella getting fired by Mike and saying that in response, but we already know that she’s quitting.
I would almost bet money that its sarcasm. Like Mike is saying that he’s moving or something or he’s trying to talk Bella out of being with Edward one last time and he gives her some trivial reason and she’s just joking because its dumb and she’s tired of it….like
Mike: “Bella, are you sure that this is the right thing?”
Bella: “Yes Mike, I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life.”
Mike: “I still don’t think he’s right for you.”
Bella: “Why not Mike?” (a little irritated)

This may be odd to say,-bear with me since it is about one in the morning- but this reminds me of the scene in Eclipse when Bella tempted the wild and thirsty newborns with her blood and strands of her hair. It is an extended metaphor: Stephenie Meyer is Bella tempting us (the ravenous readers)with tidbits of Breaking Dawn. How will I be able to sleep?? All night long, I will be contemplating possible theories…
This one had me a little spazzy for a few seconds, but now I think Bella and Mike are just joking/playing around about something; maybe Mike still likes Bella, and he’s trying to snag one last date? But Bella refuses, so he comes back with a “Some friend you are!” remark, and Bella replies as the quote says? I don’t know. Haha. This one is so short! But I love how Mike is still in the picture; I love Mike

Probably just Mike talking to Bella after/before the wedding, either explaining the flaws of Edward, or how he will be unavailable because she’s married. Although, it could be one of the Cullens teasing her about Mike and she respondes in a sarcastic way as if she were talking to Mike. I don’t think Bella would be completely mean to him, haha. I hope that Mike is in the book. I like him!
