MTV announces today that a fully completed Twilight scene (not a trailer, not a behind the scenes, a full scene) will be reveled before the MTV Movie Awards!
And the cast of Twilight continues to answer your burning questions. Be sure to read the article and not just watch the video, there are a few questions answered that aren’t in the video. Note Mike/Mike giving a shout out to the fans for all the socks! Not to mention, R. Spunk!
Set your TiVo for Sunday June 1st at 7pm. (Check local listings for timezone adjustments) A HUGE thank you to Summit Entertainment for allowing this sneak peek!
Edit to answer questions:
1. The MTV Movie Awards only air on MTV. Check you local listings.
2. This Sunday, June 1st.
3. The clip will air right after the pre-show, just before the awards show begins.
4. It will be up on the MTV site later Sunday evening for those who don’t have cable or can’t see it live.
5. The clip will air sometime between 7pm and 8:30pm EST. For your times please check your local listings. (try TV Guide or the Newspaper)
6. I do not know what clip will be shown…however I have asked. And here is what I have been told. MTV will be suprising you. We will know the scene when it comes up on the TV screen.
7. MTV chooses only 3 up coming movies a year to highlight during the movie awards. This year Wanted, The Dark Knight (Batman), and Twilight were chosen…This is HUGE.
8.. Cam is up for an award that night. Good luck Cam! Kristen and R. Spunk will also be on the red carpet that evening so expect lots of pictures and interviews.

Although I’m absolutely thrilled about the upcoming FULL SCENE (can someone say ZOMG???), I do have a feeling it will be one we have already seen bits of. I’m guessing probably the van crash scene, because we’ve seen it both in the behind the scenes and the trailer. That way they wouldn’t give away too much, but would still satisfy all the fans.
By the way, the videos… adorable!!!
And Robert is now… Spunk?

aawww… it only says that the pre-show will be on mtv germany… I don’t know if it will be shown there but normally they keep some american ads and I hope they keep it too – but – of course our german site don’t say anything about it…

I don’t think they said anything about the scene featuring only Kristen, Rob and Cam. I mean, they’re the only ones who are going to the Movie Awards (at least that’s what I understood from what the Lexicon said), but Cam isn’t even there for appearing in the Twilight movie. He’s there because he’s up for an award that night. I don’t think that has anything to do with this movie or the scene they’re showing.. It could be the ballet studio, but it also could be not.
That said, I agree they wouldn’t want to give too much away, but my guess is the van crash scene, because we have seen it both in the trailer and behind the scenes footage.

Yes! More entertainment, great week for Twilight. I just got the Host in the mail and I’m reall excited! …But Amazon is starting to piss me off, there was a little rip in the back of my book…sniff sniff (and the last time, my Twilight books were bent and damaged a wee bit), guess I’ll be going to book stores from now on if I want perfection…
It is being shown on the monday at 9PM on MTV1 in England. I’ve already put it on record! lol Thank God for Sky+!
Anyway, maybe it’ll be the baseball scene? Or the ballet scene. if its got Rob, Kristen and Cam in then they’re the main scenes right?

Just a comment for Rob who, I am sure, will never read this. I don’t know what the connotations for "spunk" are in England, but that would not be a good nickname in the States.
There is nothing wrong with the word Spunk. Spunk meaning some one with courage, heart, fire. And certainly not any slang word. Please do not make this something it is not. ~Admin

Perhaps you should check a dictionary for the meaning of the word “spunk.” Spunk is certainly a well-known and well-used slang word. Stacy is not making the word anything other than it already is.

I also think the scene will have to do with the ballet studio.
If not the other alternative could be at the baseball field.
Cam, Robert, and Kristen would all be in that scene and there is some action in it.
Either way we’ll have to wait until Sunday, as if waiting until Saturday for S.E. Eclipse won’t be hard enough, haha.
I wonder what they’ll be wearing or if they’ll look couple-esque for the publicity.

My money’s on the car crash scene…think about it, they’ve showed part of it in the teaser trailer so they’re not giving *too* much away, it shows the relationship between Edward and Bella a little bit, it shows Edward’s complex feelings towards her,it gives a glimpse of his vampire skills, and it has some action in it…plus, it will make the devotees happy, becasue it’s such a piviotal scene, annd its a cool scene to show new people to rope them in
I really hope that all countries / continents are going to send the same things about the awards..

I usually hate MTV, but ever since their devotion to Twilight, they’ve really grown on mee
