The Host is amazing! I’m *so* glad it’s getting pubicity- it deserves it!
I loved The Host. It was just…beyond words amazingamazing. Stephenie has really…matured as a writer, I think (I hope that’s the right word). With Twilight, you could sort of tell, based on her writing, what book she’d been reading lately (Jane Austen showed up a lot), but in The Host you could tell she’s really forged her own her own style, and it’s a really, really beautiful style.
I can only begin to imagine what Breaking Dawn will be like. Before, because of my entirely unrealistic expectation of Harry Potter 7 – and then the utter disapointment when I realized it was written by a HUMAN, and my standards were just too, too high – I decided not to hype BD up – too much.
But after The Host…well…I’m VERY excited.
I was at the Host signing in Portland. I was the first one to get my books signed be Stephenie too. ^_^
