The LA Times has launched Hollywood Backlots and is featuring Twilgiht pictures. The photos were taken by David Strick and they are amazing. They also have an archive of several articles they have done on Twilight. So check out the pics and articles.
And before everyone commments, yes these photos were up breifly yesterday but were offically launched today.
The LA Times was wonderful enough to give the fans High Resolution images for every picture. Please remember that these images are an exclusive, but that being said, take them and make banners and avies, load them on your desk top, but please if you are another fan site, link to the LA Times and don’t put them in your gallery.
These are the best candid stills from the set of Twilight that I have seen so far. The fact they are hi res makes a huge impact. I’m looking forward to more like this…..
The pictures are so great! They all made me *squee* with joy. Although that’s not a word, I can’t think of another that would describe how wonderful they were to see. It’s good to see such good-quality pictures. I look forward to more from this site-at least I hope so!
These are pretty much the greatest pictures ever. They are breathtakingly beautiful, and provide an interesting behind the scenes look at a rather “controvercial” adaptation from the book. These pictures have sold me on it!
I LOVE these pictures! It’s so great to catch a glimpse of scenes that aren’t in the books – it gives us a cool preview as to what will be added extra-canonically (is that a word? Oh well).
I would have liked to know when they were in character and when they weren’t, though… there were a couple where I guessed that they were rolling, but I wasn’t sure. Maybe more descriptive captions?
OMG I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Twilight series I can’t believe they’re making a series or movie about it to bad theres only 4 oh well they’ll problably be as good as the Harry Potter series I can’t wait to read the 4th book or see the show/movie and Edward is cute!:D
the pictures were really awesome, not only in content but in quality too! those are some really lovely photos, and its not just because theres an unhumanly beautiful vampire in them!

It makes waiting for breaking dawn and the movie a little more bearable. Those pictures are really beautiful — there are several that I love (let’s face it, Rob and Kristen are two pretty people) but my favorite that depicts the characters so well is picture number 15 — Kristen’s eyes are closed tight and Rob has a very Edwardesque look on his face — exactly as I would imagine them. I can’t wait to see more of their interpretation of these characters!

OMG! These are the best behind-the-scenes pictures that I’ve seen!(so far):D I’M SO STOKED FOR THE MOVIE! the cast that was picked is perfect.:)
Speaking as a photographer, the pictures are absolutely amazing. The colors are beautiful and really give a feel for the rainy town of Forks. David Strick did a fantastic job at showing us a peep of behind the scenes work and the close ups of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are gorgeous. They really are two very good looking people and their skin tones, hair color, complexions and overall image go very well with each other.
Speaking as a passionate twilighter, AHHHHHH. These pictures really show how good the two are working together. They seem very comfortable (despite the wires) and give a great feel of how I picture Edward and Bella. I WANT MOREE! The location is also perfect because of the eerie vibe coming off of the mossy trees. This was just one more sneak peek that leaves me wanting more. The movie just can’t come fast enough.
I love them!! They both look amazing together. I’m hoping for more to come.

i thought these pics were amazing and wonderful. i love some of the candids that they got of rob and kristen. even between takes they really look like edward and bella. i will admit that when i heard about the tree scene i was a little skeptical, but these pics have made me nothing but excited for this addition to the story. the close ups were absolutely beautiful. rob and kristen are both stunning. thanks for these awesome pics!!!

First of all. Thank you for updating the Twilight fans with some amazing behind the scene shots. They are incredible. I especially love the photo of the crew members having a little snack break. It made me laugh when I saw that one.
I do request one thing though. When you post more photos could you refrain from putting anything that could ruin any surprises that could be in the film.
