She can’t end up with Jacob. Jacob would imprint later & leave Bella no matter what. Bella & Edward love each other & I think it was the publisher that said it is the ending to a beautiful love story. Which to me, the only love story is between Bella & Edward.
Ok sorry, back on topic…I can’t read anything from MTV while I am work because they are blocked, but I can’t wait to read it when I get home! And when do we get the good interviews from Robert & Kristen!!! I am dying for those already!!!!!!!!!!!

Why was my comment taken off? For pointing out that people running this site have become publicity hogs? Why do we seriously need to put in our comments that we got to their page through the Lexicon when they already know this (again, through visitor tracking). It’s a little redundant, don’t you think?

Is she trying to hint at us that maybe things aren’t gonna turn out exactly as we want? I hope she doesn’t truly believe that fans think they know more than the authors. Thats horrible.
To be quite honest guys.. I was thinking the same thing when she mentioned speaking with JKR. She stated that would like to discuss her fans and the whole not liking the ending and who harry ends up with.
I thought more clearly about it, and realized that we all already know the ending and that Steph would never in a million years do that:D Seriously. Have a little faith guys and let’s not let our anguished (from anticipation) minds get the best of us. I simply believe she has to be referring to the Jacob lovers out there… she realizes that a group of fans would like to see Bella end up with him, and she knows that there will be disappointment regardless of who Bella ends up with.
Hmmmm.. i like both authors and i wouldn’t really want to compare them.
Kinda choked up on the part about people not like how Harry ended up with Ginny though? Geez, i can’t wait to see what happens in BD, To be with Edward or Jacob?? That tis the question. ..
Bella and Edward will get their happy ending. Although Harry could had stayed with Luna.
Good point Jenny. I guess I just started to panic a little bit. But I guess we all need to brace ourselves for some sort of drama to go down in Breaking Dawn, but know in the end, it’ll all work out!

Hell, Bella doesnt deserve Jacob or Edward, to tell u the truth. The girl’s so confused I think there should be a new word for confused specially for her in the dictionary! Girls arent like that!

This is in defense of Bella – I don’t think you understand Bella much at all. Bella is: sweet, shy, determined, stubborn, lovable, perceptive, a bookworm, inquisitive, protective, smart…kind of all-out adorable. I think it would be wonderful if I knew a girl like that, thank you very much.
Edward is, contrary to Bella’s belief (and cut her some slack, she loves him dearly, of course she thinks he’s perfect) NOT some sort of flawless creature, and neither is Jacob, however wonderful both characters are.
None of these characters don’t “deserve” each other. Bella and Edward are something of a wonder couple, and Jake and Bella, if there was no fantasy, would’ve been soul-mates, but in the human sense.
Bella is a really great girl. Please don’t bash her.
JK and Stephenie r both awesome writers but I like the Twilight series better. It’s kind of funny that they compare these two series cuz I’m a Twilight fan and my sister is a HP fan and we always argue which one is best! LOL
I’ve never read HP, but I know (word of mouth) that JK is awesome. I think both she and Stephenie created AMAZING stories and I’m sure both of their books are going to be talked about for years.
Everyone who has said something about the ending above…gah don’t make me worry so much!! haha
lets just hope and pray everything ends nicely!! I would be devastated if Bella ended up with Jake somehow (in Mid Summer Night’s dream don’t the lovers like get mixed up??). And sorry to the Jake lovers if she ends up with Edward (which is what i’m desperately praying will happen)!!
Anyway I’m REALLY excited for Breaking Dawn, and on an on topic note I love Steph, but JK is great too.

if bella ends up with jake, i’ll die. he was her REBOUND, her little friend when edward wasn’t around. sure, they fell in love because that’s what happens when you’re vulnerable after a HUGE break up. AT THAT MOMENT he was everything that edward wasn’t anymore. Jake is her #2 and if Stephanie made him her #1, i repeat, i’ll die.
i hope the whole imprinting non sense takes place in BD and the whole drama of it all is just that Bella becomes jealous of Jakes new love or something. hahaha. ANYTHING to keep Edward and Bella together
at the same time i feel like, why was jake brought into this whole saga in the first place? just to complicate things? ahhh idk. I NEED THAT BOOK! lol
I somehow agree that bella is VERY mixup-girl. But love does suprise you – you never know that is this the day when you’ll meet your true love. And I’m happy for bella that she find edward, and other way
But when we read how the story ends we’ll all notice that they deserve each others and this is how it supposed to be.
Stephenie and JK are both amazing and i like Harry Potter…BUT I AM IN LOVE WITH TWILIGHT!!! twilight is a great book that kept me hooked. dont get me wrong JK but….EDWARD IS AMAZING harry is ehh

At the end of the interview, it said, “Who’s writing style do you prefer: Stephenie Meyer or J.K. Rowling.” or something of that sort.
I actually thought about that, and I realized that it was the dumbest question in the world. Okay, perhaps not *the* dumbest, but somewhere up on that list.
I mean, they have COMPLETELY different writing styles (even different point of views), and completely different story lines. Sure they’re both fantasy, but a vampire is only seen in Harry Potter once- 6th book, Slughorn’s party. =]
Can someone please tell me why are we comparaing JRK and Meyers. Their book are NOTHING alike. JKR NEVER delt with vampires or love(romantic, not mother and child love). Some people might say that Snape was a vampire, but that is not true, and the two major love stories(R&H and H&G) are bearly written! If you put together all the romantic moments between both of them you probley have about only 3 pages…if that! R&H got together in the LAST book and H&G hardly had any moments!!
