Lena: he pretty much just says that the wig is itchy and it’s going to take some getting used to. it also says that he won’t be able to put it in a ponytail because thats what james is doing and they want that to be different. taylor wishes they’d let him put it back though, because of it’s itchy-ness.

Ok so I have never seen sharkboy, but I can say he IS Jacob. He looks better with short hair, but the wig is cool. Yay! I second the motion that he needs to bulk up for the next two, if there is a next two!

yayy! at first i wasn’t sure if he’d be a good jacob because i only have seen him in shark boy and lava girl and all his kid pictures so i haven’t seen him grown up, but after i watched this video all my doubts were pushed aside! lol he is so cute! and he has a voice and laugh just like jacob would have

i think he’s a great jacob! i am pretty bummed they’re not putting it in a ponytail cuz that’s jake’s thing. he always had it in a ponytail! but i have to admit, i was never able to picture jake with long hair in my head anyway, even though the book says he has long hair a million times, in my head it was always short, so either way it will take getting used to

What can I say – holds breathe. That wig has got to go. I mean seriously too LONG. Needs to be trimmed massively and then pulled back into a ponytail. Taylor seems sweet, sorry about the wig.
i like robert better as edward than Taylor as Jacob ( partly cause of my pref. for Edward anyway… but stil…) but the kid def has potential. I hpe he grows by new moon though, or at least hits the gym … *wink*

I’m not a Jacob fan, but Taylor was great in that clip. And what the person doing the interview said was so funny, “Mom, what do you think of my new hair?” that was great.

I’m so glad he looks much older than he did in his last movie! There was that tiny bit of doubt beforehand, because I’m such a Jacob lover and his character being the last one picked had me biting my fingernails until the end!
But anyway, he’s going to be perfect. So, the wig looks a little funny, but with the popularity of the books, I’m sure they’re going to make it better. If I heard correctly, they’re still trying to decide on styles for it… So for those freaking out, that few seconds of wig we saw might not be the final outcome…
Also, Jacob’s role isn’t too big until New Moon. We still have time ;]

I am so glad I got to see this cause I wasn’t quite sure what to think of Taylor…but I am sooo happy to see that he looks like he us gonna be better than i thought! He sure has grown up since shark boy huh? I really ike his voice to and he seemed really friendly and down to earth like younger Jaacob is!!!
