Review for The Host

Blog Critics has posted a review of the Host (don’t worry not too spoilery if you want to read it)

Part of the review states:

"The story ends on a note of hope. It is an emotional ride from beginning to end – all 631 pages. Any science fiction fan will enjoy this story, but Stephenie Meyer may have done for science fiction what she did for fantasy when she wrote Twilight. The Host is set in enough of a realistic setting that even people who aren’t sci-fi fans will enjoy this story. You’ll want to put this one in your to-be-read-again pile."

  29. Viktoria,

Hi! My e-mail address is Mickeykid10@aol.com. Just make sure to reference something regarding the book or I will delete your e-mail and will not open it. Glad I could do this for you.

    Kim,

Hi! If you go on the websie for “ChangingHands.com” they have an icon for Stephenie and you are able to pre-order a copy that will be signed by Stephenie. This one of the bookstores that is on Stephenie’s list for the book signing of “The Host”. You don’t get any discount on the book, like some of the other stores, but I thought I’d treat myself to a signed copy. They are also hoping to get more copies of the Twilight series back in and if they do I will probably order copies for my book collection. I hope this answers your question.

    Have a great day everyone.

Updated my post to indicate the Twilight books would be signed copies. Of course, I already have all the books just would like to add signed copies to my collection.

    Have a great day everyone.

  31. ohh…thanks cathy! that sounds awesome, i might just have to do that myself. :)

  32. Kim,

Glad you got my post. It’s fun to treat your self to something once in awhile and why not a signed book from Stephenie. Have a good day.

  33. Yeah, I kept checking back because I was really curious about what you were talking about! I’m glad you replied. I already have signed copies of all the twilight books–i was lucky enough that she came to my town on her eclipse tour–but unfortunately she’s not going to be close enough on her host tour. So maybe paying a few extra dollars to get a rare signed copy would be worth it. Thanks for letting me know about it, I figured that you were talking about changinghands bookstore but I just wanted to check.

  34. Kim,

I’m jealous, lucky you, to have signed copies of all the Twilight books. I am hoping that Changinghands bookstore gets more copies in so that I can add them to my collection. It would be great if Stephenie would come to the east coast, but so far I haven’t seen anything. I can only hope. Have a good day.

  35. Viktoria,

Hi! Still waiting to hear from you re: the book. Have a good day.
