After weeks of speculation Creator.com has comfirmed that Billy Burke will indeed be playing Charlie Swan in the upcoming Twilight movie. The article can be found here. yea! Finally some news! I am so happy with the choosing of the cast so far. I am sooo glad that these are mostly people that have not done as many projects as some of the bigger actors in hollywood. It will make it easier for me to see them in character. KEEP BRINGING ON THE NEWS!

I always thought Charlie would be a bit older but seeing as I have a cop as a dad, and he doesn’t look like the stereotypical cop, Billy Burke is definately right for the part! =)

seriously almost EXACTLY how i pictured Charlie…almost exactly how i pictured the entire cast!!… i love that the cast members arent too well known…this way they can make it their own movie…i love this movie b/c its not only a teen heartthrob novel…but, the characters require genuinely good actors to play them…and i think they all can pull it off!!! I super excited for the movie!
I knew it! One time I was on livejournal and someone said that they heard on the radio that Billy Burke was recently filming a movie called Twilight and I was like OMG! WHO IS THIS GUY?!? And this was before Peter Facinelli so I was thinking, “Carlise? No, this guy has to be Charlie”
And it sees like everyone thought so too!
I just looked at his credits. I didn’t realize he was coffee guy on Gilmore Girls. I had to laugh in his interview when he talked about being old enough to have a 17 year old daughter. I’m his same age and have a 17 year old son.

Ever since I heard the rumor about 2 months that Billy Burke was going to be in Twilight, I’ve been thinking what a great Charlie he would be. And now he’s official! I had almost the whole cast picked out in my mind, and none of them have been cast, but the real cast is much better!
